I never knew councils would charge for bins in a new house - just assumed they'd be free!
Wreck I don't understand the prescription thing - aren't they free because of her age?
I do think it's awful to have to pay for medication regardless of circs but for children it just seems beyond unfair.
What if it is the meds that are helping but you couldn't afford them?
I should maybe stop complaining about my council tax - band C here.
Just putting my feet up. Today I have cleaned the bathroom, hoovered & mopped the whole house, cleared the wash basket, packed 80% for holiday, wrote and posted neighbour cards, dusted everywhere, argued with the GP surgery because they wouldn't give me a prescription without an appointment but don't have any appointments (won that one and have a face to face app tomorrow pm), and did Christmas with my family - takeaway, presents and general chaos.
Cross stitch cards for parents were a success, as were their gifts.
Niece and nephew were a bit underwhelmed which is rubbish, but they're moving soon so I deliberately bought small things (bath bombs, pjs, books etc).
Onwards with the crochet cushion cover now, then sleep 😴
