Morning!

It's the final Rudolph Day of the year! A month today is the big day!

I'm sending DH off to his parents' house with the kids so I can wrap today. I usually fail to be Christmassy on Rudolph Days! 🤣

I still haven’t got the Oodie I ordered for dd. Really pissed off about it 😡 I’ve asked them to cancel it now but obvs won’t get a refund until the new year.

Last day of work today until next year and I finish my (first) essay yesterday 🙌🏼

Would it be mad to go to M&S food at 3:30pm Christmas Eve for Christmas Day food? Only us at home…

I know some people swear by that, Wreck!

Might do some housework depending on how I feel after the aforementioned jab.

Wreck I've toyed with the idea of a Christmas Eve Supermarket Raid , I suppose it depends how flexible you are but you could get some bargains ....

I might get some pigs in blankets, we already have gammon and ingredients for stuffing. I think I will do it… it’s a shame it’s a Sunday, if it was a week day and they were open a bit later I think fewer people would go in near closing.

My to do list today:

Move house.
Scratch head over how to organise the kitchen cupboards!

Woman down over here. I've been forced to slow right down by some cough/cold/flu type thing. My head is pounding and my temperature is high so I'm switching between sweating and shivering.
Thankfully I had today already booked off work so I've parked myself on the sofa and am watching Christmas films (Fred Claus now).
Also trying to cross stitch but it's not going well because of the headache.

Argh Pre-Christmas Lurgy Crazy keep on with fluid/painkillers/CCF and rest up .

I wrapped DDs presents except 2 books that I found after , but I was caught by The Twitch and ordered her some Sol De Janeiro shower gel to try out .
We (DH,DD and I ) are off to London tomorrow (theatre and a ponce about )

Then I need to make marzipan for the cake .
I'm working Mon/Tues/Wed next week and then some last minute shopping , get the washing done and out of the way and just watch some telly .

I haven't bought DH anything, I need to get my Mum something . (DH usually picks something online )
DS is a nightmare , usually just give him money (its what he asks for ) he gets socks/pants/loungwear in his DEc 1st Box and I bought him a nice hoodie for the gym. So he's not neglected .

I might find something in London for me .

Hope you feel better soon @CrazyBaubles! I also have the lurgy but am glad it should be gone by Christmas.

Single figures!

Everything survived, Crazy. Not least because not all of it is here. Never mind. It'll get here at some point!

The dog has settled well, and the kids having their own lounge is amazing.

Hair cuts today. And the kids are off to Chester Zoo lights with DH's dad and brother later on, so I'm dropping them off after haircuts. Get them out of the way!

Good morning all. I have woken up with a pre-Christmas cold! Am v annoyed because I have a lot to do (and can't find the emoji to match this!)

2 more viewings yesterday - I put an offer in on 1 but have to see a 2nd apartment I the same building before I can do the same for the 2nd. 2nd is a modern soulless box that needs full furniture bought but is far more practical for lots of reasons. 1st only needs a couch but is an old house and further from the office and trains to airport.

I'm leaving temp flat on Wednesday anyway so everything going into my office for 3 weeks.

Today will be a sorting and packing day, doing more office work, and maybe getting a walk in the local park...

We have a washing line! And the washing went out so late, it's going to stay out overnight to get darker on! 🤣🤣

Constantly I've turned the corner with my cold now (I think). Would def recommend Echinacea, hot honey&lemon tea, naps and a rest.

I'm desperately working on finishing my cross stitch card and crochet cushion this weekend. Now the dizziness is easing off the majority of this should be doable.
Also aiming to pop to the big supermarket after 5:30 when town has calmed down. Fingers crossed I'll be able to pick up the last few things I need in one stop so by tonight I'll be done 🤞🏼

Got back , had coffee and food at home , DD is insisting tomorrow she has a lie-in and DH and I can sort the shopping delivery . (I'll rope DS into help , she can sleep)

We all nodded off on the sofa earlier. #badparents We're all in bed now though (well, we still have a mattress on the floor; the kids have built beds).

Lots to do tomorrow, but I think the back of it will get broken. Tomorrow is a day to achieve!

I am on my way home from a Christmas cinema trip (muppets Christmas Carol) and a nice meal so feeling quite nice and relaxed.

I've got presents from my mum to wrap when I get home (she has some injury issues with her hands) then I'll be having an early night as the lurgy is still lingering and I'm knackered.

Kind of, Crazy. Didn't get it all done, but we've broken the back of it (and found the teapot, which was essential!).

We'll be sorted by the end of the week, I'm sure.

Morning!

I need to do my stair garlands at lunch time. Thankfully I get an hour in this job; it was only half an hour in the last. Tonight will be unpacking more stuff, such as towels, which are bulky and quick wins.

We've had fun and games with the heating / hot water system as it's really bloody complicated. But I <think> I've sorted it now!

Final stretch now. Let's do this!

I am on an early shift working from home. Hoping my laptop behaves itself today that was too stressful last week.

We delivered some Christmas cards yesterday, I don't really write many as my hands are not good enough.

So close now, how exciting. I keep editing my huge food shop order, not long till it closes though.
