Christmas songs that aren't as well known / popular - Please share

I've recenty found this lovely song and wondered what other gems are out there that get ignored in favour of the well known (overplayed) Christmas songs.

Oh yes, I love that album 😍(with the exception of some of her pronunciation in Il Est Né 😬)

I picked up The Best Christmas Album in the World Ever at a charity shop recently for £2 Its the 2004 version with Micheal Andrews and Gary Jules Mad World on it, because that was a hit at Christmas the year before.

The Annie Lennox Christmas album was there too but i didnt buy that one.

I spent a long time yesterday afternoon, evening and this morning listening to all these fantastic suggestions. My neighbours must think i'm some some of crazy festive elf with a very random taste in Christmas music. 🤣🤣

Thank you all for the brilliant suggestions, there are so many I had never heard of and have now added to my Christmas playlist. It's so refreshing to have something new to listen to as it seems like it's always the same 10 Christmas songs on repeat through the festive season.

@Mommybunny I saw Judy Collins at a festival last year (she's 84!) in a field and she blindsided everyone by starting with Both Sides Now. I was in floods, as we're most of the women around me.

This. It’s so old. I remember my parents had it on an old album when I was a kid.

I Was (and am) a single mum and there’s a line in the song which always brings a tear to my eyes.

Smith and Burrows When the Thames Froze, a couple of people mentioned it up thread.

I also love Noel Gallagher Wandering Star, I think it’s a Christmas song, it has bells!

This is years back now, I think they were going to try and push it as an 'alternative' xmas no1 but there was a cock up and another of their songs ended up eligible or it getting the counts instead. Still on my playlist though, next to Shakin Stevens and Wham

In my home country Snoopy’s Christmas vs The Red Baron by the Royal Guardsman is very popular, but I’ve never heard it played here.
