Christmas songs that aren't as well known / popular - Please share

I've recenty found this lovely song and wondered what other gems are out there that get ignored in favour of the well known (overplayed) Christmas songs.

Solstice bells is a firm favourite in our house.

I love "this Christmas" by Chris brown - not unknown but it's not one I hear played often. It makes me feel like I'm in New York in the snow!

Love this thread. I now have so many songs to add to my Christmas playlist.
My contribution is ‘Carry You Home’ by The Lancashire Hotpots. Really captures the reflective side of the season. I well up every time I hear it.

@RailwayCutting Coventry Carol is my favourite! It's so rare to hear it anywhere these days.

If you want to go retro, this one from 1954 is lovely and fun

@gldd that Charlie Brown Christmas album is on DH's turntable all over Christmas in our house It's fantastic.

Not sure if this is obscure enough but Donna and Blitzen by Badly Drawn Boy is one of my favourites.

Joni Mitchell- River. I know that it was covered by Ellie Goulding more recently but I love it.

Love that song and am pleased that Ellie Goulding's version has completely passed me by. Not a fan of her voice.

This cracks me up every time.

This is my very favourite Christmas song. It's not really obscure (especially if you are of the right age!) but it doesn't get played so much now. Makes my scalp tingle every time I hear it.

Perhaps the weirdest end to a Christmas music video though!

I really dislike 99% of Christmas songs, but this one is not only acceptable, but is one of the best songs ever made. Ever ✌

The Huron Carol. When I was at school 45 years ago (!) the junior boys' choir sang this at the Christmas concert. I haven't heard it since but it's rather lovely in an "If you like the Coventry Carol you'll like this" sort of way.

The whole Jethro Tull Christmas Album!

Especially Jack Frost and The Hooded Crow, my favourite Christmas song.

It's not your typical Christmas album, not anti Xmas, but more about it being difficult for some people.

The Killers - Don’t Shoot me Santa Clause is definitely one of the catchiest songs ever.

For a bit of Christmas fun I also like Kim Wilde and Lawnmower Death’s F You Christmas.
