Tesco slots

Anyone else getting up at stupid o'clock tomorrow to nab their slot? Hate this bloody process every year, wish they’d come up with a better way to do it!

Sadly Tesco are the only reliable option here so I’m tied in 🙄 last year a thread on here kept me going through the early hours so I’m hoping some of you are around again tomorrow!

I've done one every week for 20 years and very rarely don't get what I've ordered. Just for balance 😁

Thought I would have an easy one with this as I was up early for a train. Instead I’m stuck in an hour long queue on both phone and app 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m sad but I like actually going to do my Xmas shop 🤣🤣

@Haydug I'm also near Cambridge and just booked for the 23rd, there were lot of slots still available for me.

I live on the outskirts of Cambridge. I can't see the slots on the 23rd because I've already booked for then but there are slots available all day on the 22nd and the 24 th.

I've only just logged on and it says more than an hour. Eeek

Still a wait of more than an hour!

Still waiting. Got to go to work soon, you’d think a weekend might be a better day to do it.

That took me 55 minutes. On at 6 am sharp. Got lunchtime on 23rd. Our Tesco does not offer 24th.

About 2/3 of the slots on the 23rd were still available, although I've gone for the 22nd.

Anybody having problems with signing in?? I set my alarm for 6am and have been waiting since then. Now it’s my turn to book it’s stuck in a loop saying log on error even though it’s accepting my Face ID ??? It’s auto putting in the password but going round and round in a loop 😭😭😭

Done. 22nd 3/4. Wanted to make sure I had another day to get bits if the inevitable 'item not available' happens

Took an hour but I got the 23rd. The morning slots had gone but plenty for afternoon and evening

It took me over 50 minutes to get in once I was in the queue (plus 15 minutes wait before 6am as the queue was paused) but got a slot for 23rd.

HA didn’t mean to post that, but they are.

My wait is more than an hour. Been awake for a while but forgot about it 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t want Xmas week so hopefully I can get something around 15-16-17

joined queue at 5.50am here - just got 23rd for Cambridge. Lots of spaces left.

Done, Lincolnshire so pretty rural, no option for the 24th but I have got the 23rd and all my usual weekly slots for December.
have also popped back onto 23rd slot to add a. Couple of the “to order”
foods.
reasonably happy - hour wait but I normally log in earlier than I did today so my fault.

Joined q at 5.55, got in at 7.15. Every single slot still looked available 22/23/24th (and assuming earlier).

logged on at 5.50am and got the 23rd, happy with that

This is bizarre - we used to shop with Tesco but switched to Asda several years ago. We have a midweek delivery pass, went in back in October to do the usual weekly shop and noticed they'd made Christmas slots available. So I booked one and then went back in to do my regular shop. No queues, no hassle. They did used to announce in advance when they were opening the slots and I think that used to be worse as everyone jumped on at the same time. This year they haven't announced it and there are loads available. Might be worth considering for anyone having trouble with Tesco? Good luck all!

Probably because all us cheapskates who have the cheaper after 3pm delivery saver are not allowed to book our slot until the 21st. I booked Waitrose this year for Christmas slot instead.
