Tesco slots

Anyone else getting up at stupid o'clock tomorrow to nab their slot? Hate this bloody process every year, wish they’d come up with a better way to do it!

Sadly Tesco are the only reliable option here so I’m tied in 🙄 last year a thread on here kept me going through the early hours so I’m hoping some of you are around again tomorrow!

In and done by 06:08. Last year it took hours and I got a click and collect. This year, I was in by 06:04 and got a home delivery on 23/12 9-10. Much better than previous years.

Back down to 49 mins.....

All in and booked for 23rd 10-11. That’s the quickest it’s ever been by far. I’ve got tea and biscuits and was settling down for the long haul. This has never happened to me

Must get a lottery ticket this week!

Mine started at an hours wait, but quickly went down to 28 minutes. When it got to 18, it jumped up to 36 minutes.
The same thing happened last year but the wait kept gettinglonger and longer. It eventually took over 3 hours to get booked!!
My friend a few streets away was done in a couple of minutes both this year, and last.
I don't understand the system 🤬

Mine's gone from 58 to 45 in the blink of an eye

Still 18/19/52 minutes to wait, and I was in the queue at 5.45am

I got in the queue at 5.42 (or that’s when I refreshed the slots and was told the queue was paused). Then at 6am it said a 23 minute wait, dropped to 11 minutes very quickly, then I was in and out by 6.15, with the slot I wanted. Much smoother than last year!

Ooo my phone made a noise when I got to the front of the queue. Got a slot on 23rd which is what I'd hoped for

Agh - still wait time of over an hour and I need to leave for work at 7!!!

Still more than an hour. Joined queue at 5.45am, went down to 50 minutes and then jumped up to over an hour 10 mins ago, which it still is.

I’m in London. Where is everyone else and what is the wait time?

Check that tomorrow. I thought I did that last year, but it only registered the one slot 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm done and dusted with my slot. I'm really not keen on getting up at this time just to get the day and time I have every bloody week 😂

Time in bouncing up and down here too. But I feel quite proud that I managed it - as I usually forget!

Just want to say - you can also book your usual slots for the rest of December (from 1st up to Christmas Day!)

I usually book my New Year slot too but it only goes as far as Christmas Day this year which is disappointing

Did they say your queue number last year, or am I imagining that?

Ooof all booked and I remembered to book all my December slots too.
Next 7 Fridays all booked and Andrex in each basket. In and out like a stealth ninja!

Same so frustrating. Fed up with Tesco. Going to give Ocado a go in the New Year.

Much much easier this year than previous years. Last year it took me about 4 hours in the queue. This year I am already finished

I stayed up until midnight for the Asda ones this year, I was hoping for a slot on the 23rd. I got straight on and booked and felt very pleased with my tired little self 😴.
Logged on again that day at teatime to add to my normal weekly shop and had a quick look if any slots were left for Christmas, and literally every day bar Christmas Eve were still all free. I could've just gone to bed as normal and still got a slot 🤦🏻‍♀️

I would prefer a queue number. I’ve just had an unchanging ‘more than an hour’ for more than 25 minutes now

We’re usually Ocado, and that’s my preference - their stock levels are so much more reliable. Annoyingly I temporarily cancelled our smart pass at the key point in time where you need to be registered for early access! Still waiting for the general release slots.
