Tesco slots

Anyone else getting up at stupid o'clock tomorrow to nab their slot? Hate this bloody process every year, wish they’d come up with a better way to do it!

Sadly Tesco are the only reliable option here so I’m tied in 🙄 last year a thread on here kept me going through the early hours so I’m hoping some of you are around again tomorrow!

At least this year all parts of the system are talking to each other.

Same time on iPad, phone and lap top.

Oh god I will double check tomorrow then! It is showing as all 3 in my orders when I go in to 'all orders' on the app. Fingers crossed!

Logged in at 5:50. Wait time currently 13 mins...

I don't know if it is dependent on area? Our Tesco deliveries come from Ipswich. My wait time has bounced around all over the place, currently 19 minutes but it keeps going up as well as down.

I'm in London, right on the outskirts. I've never had a long wait time to book a slot at Christmas. I went from 'the queue is paused' to a 5 minute wait. I used the Tesco app, so I'm always logged in, I don't know if that makes a difference?

I bung champagne in my basket, then edit the order a week or so before delivery, when I know what I need.

I was quicker than the increased time and managed to get 4-5 on 23rd. There were a lot of slots available! I'm happy.

Phew all done! 10-11am on 23rd which is later than I wanted but hopefully it's picked and I have my receipt by 8ish so can still nip out first thing for anything missing.

Also got my two Sunday delivery's sorted for 10th and 17th.

Easier than last year.... For those still waiting, I just got delivery for 23rd and every single delivery slot was still available... Hang in there!

I am torn between, sod it, I am retired and I will do it piecemeal and this is the reason I have a pass.

I’m in Devon with a wait time if over an hour 😞

Fingers crossed that the current 45 minutes is reasonably accurate, because we have to leave the house at 7.45!

i havent done an on line shop, apart from having covid in april, since blue light card gave discount on store purchases at asda only.
and i agree that it doesnt guarantee you will get your goods

All done. I logged in at 6 and have just got slots on 9th, 16th and 23rd. Worked well.

Isn’t the current release of slots for delivery pass customers only?

I just logged back in to se if I could book my December weekly shops as well and it was no problem. I thought it would kick me out or at least put me back in the queue 🤔 maybe less people are queuing this year?

19mins to go. I joined the queue at about 5.55am. We are in Kent. I hope the 23rd slots are still available.

Website showing over an hour (Cambridge).
App had a wait time of 40 minutes...just got 22nd December which was what I wanted. The app has been much faster this year.

Yes. And only if you've got the full delivery pass option. If you've got the "off peak" cheaper Delivery Pass then you have to wait another 2 week I think

MadPad showing 43 minutes, app stuck on 54 minutes, buggered if I am going down to see what it is on the lap top.

I feel for you as it can't be pleasant having customers go on at you for items being out of stock/ substitutes.

Sadly not everyone is able to to go to a supermarket in person.
I'm a single mum, I don't drive, my youngest child is severely disabled and I suffer from agoraphobia. In all honesty I haven't set foot in any of the bigger supermarkets since March 2020. 😢

Were any 23rd slots left? I'm near Cambridge and I believe our online orders are sourced in Cambridge. I've still 15 mins in the queue! Was hoping for 23rd ideally.
