Crochet for Christmas

Does anyone want to join me in a thread for Christmas crochet chat/ideas?
I realise it's a bit niche but Crochet and Christmas are my two favourite things!
I'm fairly new to Crochet but planning on making Christmas pudding tree decorations for everyone, stockings for the DC as well as toys to go in the stockings. My DC love to watch me crochet so I think they'll like them!

I’m planning on making my MIL a scarf and some pot holders. I also need accountability to finish DD’s blanket.

Last year I made bauble covers to fit on the Cadbury chocolate puds and candy cane holders for the tree.

I haven’t planned anything for this year yet. I’m still bogged down in a blanket I started in April and is taking far far longer than I thought.

I've made Xmas pud covers for choc oranges which went down well & mini stockings as tree decs

Aw yay I'm not alone hooking away ready for December!
I started crochet to make little keyring stuffed animals for my DS teachers as a thank you. I've fallen on love with it. Absolutely love the Xmas pud chocolate cover ideas above!
Also love the idea of little stockings for the tree.
My ideas can't keep up with the bank balance in terms of yarn though!

I've just had a look on Pinterest. I typed in Christmas crochet, the pigs in blankets came up, they look great. They also had some beautiful baubles, and some chains - like the old fashioned paper chains but crocheted.

I’m also making myself a scarf for Christmas. Don’t forget a little something for yourselves 😁

They have also got a cute little gingerbread house. I really need to learn how to do links.

I want to make a Christmas throw for the sofa. If I start now it might be finished by 2024.

These are the best things I've ever seen! As for inspo, I tend to Google "Christmas tree crochet pattern" or whatever I fancy making followed by crochet pattern and get a fair few free patterns come up.
So far I'm planning stockings, tree decs, little tree for the side board, reindeer for DS who loves reindeer and penguin for DD who loves penguins!

Have you seen the Christmas poncing thread OP? I think it would be right up your street.

I only started learning to crochet in March , and so far have mastered granny squares , I’ve made 2 lap size blankets , one double bed size ( with lots of mistakes , I just kept going and gradually got better ) and am just on a baby blanket
Next up is making myself something !
I really love those little pigs ( I’ll Google , but a link for that pattern , even better a YouTube tutorial would be gratefully received )
