How many people would you expect to feed with this

They always under estimate portion sizes on the side of packs. Like when you buy a 5 inch cake and it says feeds 18. LIES.

How do you eat gammon - as in, what with - is it as well as turkey or instead of? (I don't eat pork). If it's one or other then I would say 20. If both, then 12.

Depends on how hungry they are but about 15-18 on the basis that things never stretch as far as billed.

Pigs in blankets are almost a side rather than substitute for meat. Might round it up to 20.

The quantity of pigs in blankets seems wildly disproportionate.

I think at christmas people have a generous portion of turkey plus a slightly smaller than usual portion of ham. The pigs are basically an extra vegetable Xmas Grin and the whole point is to overload! So I'd say 10 on the basis that the portion sizes supermarkets use are measly.

Turkey about 6-8 gammon 4 or 5 so 10 to 12 the rest is all frippery

I’d divide what it says it feeds in two. 10-11 and assume generous helpings and possibly some leftovers of everything apart from pigs in blankets.

I've always found that turkey portions are generous and allow for leftovers. So if it says feeds 12 it feeds 12 for a main course plus at least half as many sandwiches later.
Gammon would probably feed the number it says on the pack if it is the only meat being served but twice as many if served with the turkey.
Pigs in blankets I would allow 4 per person plus extra to have cold.
How many are you feeding and do you want leftovers? Cold meat and bubble and squeak on Boxing Day is the best meal over Christmas!

If you are doing 2 sorts of potatoes, stuffings, 3 or more veg, bread and cranberry sauce, then 20+, especially if you are doing a starters and pud too.
