It's early September and we're already on thread 3 - wonder how many threads we'll get to this year! Any bets? Mine is 29!

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

Joules have had an eBay outlet for years.

they aren’t closing down but they have issued a profit warning in the last month or so. But it looks like they’ve done a deal with next to be sold on their website, which is a positive move. I’m not too worried yet, but it’s a case of watch this space

IamChipmunk · 04/09/2022 18:53

Claires accessories have quite a few stocking filler bits in the sale, spotted some cute earrings, reindeer lipgloss and some pocket sized notebooks.

LateNightTalking · 04/09/2022 18:56

Oooh I can't believe I've missed two threads already! Not been on MN much, but these threads are always my faves (name changed since last year!)

Looking forward to finding and sharing some bargains Smile

Has anyone seen good offers for Jellycat bunnies?

Best I can find for a medium is £17.99 plus £2 delivery on Bumbletree. Never used the company before.

LostMyRubySlippers · 04/09/2022 19:28

Campus Gifts have some jellycats with 10% but looks as though they’d be more expensive than the site you’ve seen….

Someaddedsugar · 04/09/2022 19:38

There was an offer on Jellycat toys on Jeremy's Homestore (I'm sure that's what it's called) using code 10OFF for 10% off

@Pumpkintopf @IggyAce thank you! Some good ideas for my nieces - budget for them I’d £20
the boys are my ds’s 20&16 - I need ideas for everything from stocking stuff to bigger items - was thinking airpods for ds16. They’re both into big Lego builds - particularly cars, but not sure I’m going to have lots of extra money this year

Isonthecase · 04/09/2022 20:05

@Beautifulsunflowers would you be able to get a second hand Lego set? There are a few on Facebook marketplace around here.

Coldilox · 04/09/2022 20:30

If you have a John Lewis rewards account they are offering £30 off if you spend £120 on Lego

@Beautifulsunflowers only small stocking fillers - but my DSs always get a couple of charging cables from me in their stocking - I get a short one and a longer one - usually they have worn the previous years’ cables out and it avoids then borrowing and losing mine.

Waterfallgirl · 04/09/2022 20:33

@Beautifulsunflowers and everyone

ao have an offer on AirPods - £99 for the 2nd gen ones at the moment - they are 109+ elsewhere

FluffyFluffMonster · 04/09/2022 20:37

ChristmasCwtch · 04/09/2022 20:55

I bought Joules wellies from their eBay outlet donkeys years ago. It was just last years design, so perfect condition.

Haudyourwheesht · 04/09/2022 21:20

This just popped up on my Instagram if anyone is looking for a Matalan discount.

@Beautifulsunflowers does your 20yo live at home still? I have a student DS, am considering eg a heated throw as a way of helping him keep affordably warm this winter!
New hoodies? DS is in to Carharrt, among other brands
AirPods sound like a really good shout 👍

templesit · 04/09/2022 22:01

Ooh new thread already! Thank you to whoever mentioned poundtoy on the last thread 😘

UrbanMage · 04/09/2022 23:51

Question about Joules wellybobs: are they true to size? I've got humongous calves (so normal wellies won't fit me), but size 5/6 feet and I'll be looking to get some for dog walking later this year (my pre Christmas present is a puppy. Been desperate for one for years and now I've given up teaching, we are in a situation where it won't be alone).

I know it's not really Christmas related but the style and beauty board is scary

buckeejit · 05/09/2022 00:15

@UrbanMage yea, they're good - I'm size 7 & can never get boots for my calves - wellibobs are great

I think offers are tailored for each card a bit like sparks.

Crazydogmumma · 04/09/2022 18:30

@MerylSqueak - how do you get the £10 off Celtic and Co- it is only giving me 10%.

A pp said they have used it already. It's a one off.
