What's on YOUR xmas list?

I can never usually think of anything nice to get off DH (who always asks what I want and I can never usually think of anything). What's everyone asking for this year? x

I have the same problem so I have been making a little list over the year- helped by the fact I'm on mat leave so not able to buy myself things as I would normally. I have: phone case, iPad case, a couple of books, a new lunchbox and water bottle, pjs and possibly a Fitbit but that might be out of budget as my partner and I keep a strict budget which isn't very much hence why it's none expensive things.

A chunky knit blanket

I'll be returning to work from mat leave in January so I'll be asking for some new work shoes as my main gift. Fancy some chunky loafers.
I also like to receive loccitaine almond shower oil as I never buy it myself, a voucher for my local salon so I can have a treatment or nails, and some new trainers, either Hoka or New Balance for lots of new year walks :) xx

Donations to the AMMF, the only charity dedicated cholangiocarcinoma in the UK.

So far only a bunch of books after being inspired to re-read some classics i haven't come across in 30+ years. I'll probably ask for a fancy hand cream for beside and my desk. There'll be some left over, we have a standard budget for each other and elderly inlaws give cash, so this will go toward clothes when my favourite shop has its winter sale. It's not an exciting list but it will make me happy!

A new kindle. DH bought me my first one years ago and it was the best present ever.

This year I think it's finally time I upgraded my ten year old dressing gown so that's going on the list too.

I was hoping my family would ask me what I wanted for my birthday last weekend! They didn't.

I really would like a photo album. Just a cheap one off amazon or eBay, nothing fancy. I print all the photos from my phone once a month and would like an album to put them in.

The birthday present I received from DS was actually quite nasty but suspect he was trying to be funny. He's 23, has a fab job and I'd rather he'd not wasted the £12 on the horrible present. Sigh...sorry, still quite raw! I would have been very happy with just a card but for Christmas I'd like a photo album...if I've not bought one for myself by then 😆

@RJnomore1 I got the discovery of witches books from DP for the first Christmas we were together.
He had hunted down signed first edition hardbacks and had them sent from New Orleans to Scotland.
Hands down the best, most thoughtful gift I've ever received.
Hope you get them and enjoy them (and if you don't, buy them as a present for yourself)

Aw that’s lovely, I’ve watched the tv series and decided I’d love to read them and especially the ones that aren’t in the original trilogy. Your partner sounds great, the level of thoughtfulness in that 😁
