@QueenOfWeeds the best deals are usually around Black Friday, but my question is do you need the paperwhite?

the latest version of the normal kindle is very similar to the paperwhite. I know this as me and my other half bought one of each at the same time and have come to the conclusion that the paperwhite is only worth it if you will definitely use it in the bath as the normal version isn’t waterproof.

The paperwhite has a slightly longer battery life too but there’s not much in it - both have a great battery which lasts ages.

On everything else, including size and backlight, they are equal. My husband actually prefers his normal kindle to my paperwhite as the body size is very slightly smaller / neater.

plus of course, it’s half price and even less if you wait until Black Friday.

Id have thought they need to fulfil all the orders they have and post them and selling it at the rate they were would probably put them very Very behind.

@QueenOfWeeds originally the light was one of the things that set the Paperwhite apart but now the standard version has it too. So if that’s your main motivator, you should definitely consider the standard version (11 I think?).
My husband bought me the PW thinking it’s the best because I read all the time. The next day he decided to get himself a new kindle but he doesn’t read as often as I do, so decided to just get the standard one.
needless to say, we were both surprised that there’s so little between them. If mine broke now, I wouldn’t buy another PW - I would get the latest version of the standard kindle for half the price.

Thanks so much for this. I had an email from them this morning saying it was £10 off a £30+ spend, same code, but just tried it and it did indeed give me £10 off a £20 spend. You can use the code more than once. Just puchased a couple of Go Ape tickets.

Does anyone remember last year they did a £15 off a £20 spend? That was amazing and I wish I'd used it more but the company were new to me at the time. Wonder if they will have that offer again or if it was just as a result of Covid meaning people weren't buying.

The vouchers make great gifts BTW, as once you download them they don't mention the discount price, I.e you don't look stingy!
