That really annoys me too, Wreck. It's for me to decide when to overtake.

I did a few hours at the allotment this morning, got caught in the rain popping to Dobbies for more garlic, then we went swimming once I'd had a shower on my return. I'm tired now! Firefly, 1pm seems to be quite quiet on a Sunday for us. Though there's always annoying teenagers mucking about and getting in the way. Thankfully not too many today.

I've just ventured out to Sainsbury (normally go on Friday or Saturday )

Rage inducing was people just mindlessly walking in front of my Full, Heavy and Bugger To Steer trolley . Managed to avoid taking them out . But if I had done , they had they were on their bloody phones so could phone for help /

So exciting that is is only 8 weeks to go!

Morning all, been up for ages, it is always the second day that the clock change gets us.

This morning I am hoping to go to a local farm to pick a pumpkin as we don’t have one yet. Then DS has asked to go trick or treating for the first time ever this evening. I am going for the classic ‘sheet over the head’ costume for him. Have got in some halloween tea items for dinner.

It is half term here so a nice week of plans :)

Ah enjoy! Mine are back to school today, ds has fancy dress. I woke up at 4 🙄 ds was still asleep when I left though so that’s good as I thought he’d be up early too.

I got wordle in two today 🙌🏼

Don't think we'll be trick or treating tonight. DS has also asked for the first time ever, but Monday is our most hectic day. By the time we get home and have tea it's usually nearly 6.30, and it's time for DD to go to bed.

If he asks again tonight, I'll take him for half an hour while DH gets DD down. I'll have a look on Facebook to see which houses are joining in.

Hello all - DH and I are away for a few days hence limited posts. I hope you are all well!

We didn't put out any Hallowe'en decorations today , I was going to be WFH today so I could've got DD to do the earlier door answering then I'd have done from 5pm. But I had to go into work and I couldn't land this all on DD .

I roasted the pumpkins on Saturday ( they were smaller cooking pumpkins rather than huge carving ones) with onion, potato and carrots . Then froze 2/3 in bags and used the other portion for soup (added stock, cumin, coriander ) It was delicious

I went to pick DS up from the station, quite a few ToT out but mainly older/teens by that time .

November tomorrow !

I was rushing to get tea sorted after work and before bed, so I put a large tub of sweets outside the front door. Second lot of trick or treaters were teenagers and nicked the lot 🤬 Greedy sods.

Can't believe it's November. It's come round so fast...the tree goes up this month!

Firefly that’s horrible. There weren’t any trick or treaters here, I went with ds to the nearest village and it was much quieter than other years.

the wind has been awful here overnight I’m expecting lots of debris on the road when I leave in a bit.

We had apocalyptic rain most of the night. I love listening to it, especially on the skylights in the living room. Another reason I love my new extension!

Definitely not keen on it being dark when we get up now. Ick!

flipping clock change has disrupted both mine and DS’ sleep.

we went T&T last night and had a nice time. Off to a farm park with friends today although the weather sounds a bit brutal.

We can say it's Christmas next month now. Exciting.

There were loads of trick or treaters out and about round here last night, then it absolutely poured and they were soaked poor things.

In celebration I just put in a John Lewis order with lots of Christmassy presents etc.

Just had a message to say DS's passport application has been approved! Just waiting for DD's now. Hers is a first application, so I'm assuming it will take longer but hopefully not too much!

We're having crazy amounts of rain here. I had to get up last night and shut the window (was open on the vent / catch) because it was so noisy.

I'm working at double speed today to distract myself because I have toothache.
It's in a tooth that needs a root canal anyway but I've managed to move my appointment to an emergency one tomorrow afternoon.
I hate the dentist 😩

Rained laast night here and on/off all day .
If . IF tomorrow is dry , I'll put an overnight Economy Wash on and DH can hang it out , then it can finish off wafting in my new AirPod Dryer Thingie .
I've not used it yet , but keen to see how it performs .

It's absolutely tipping it down right now. Monsoon season!

Hope it goes ok. Get some orajel extra if you can. Take pain killers just before you go in to the apt.then by the time your through they will have kicked in.and then you can have more by the time the injection runs out

53 morning! Crazy hope the dentist goes well, I hate the dentist but I didn’t find the root canal bad at all the only thing that was uncomfortable was just jaw afterwards where I had had my mouth open for so long!

Showery and windy here today and really chilly indoors, I’m not putting the heating on though…
