It feels bizarre setting up the first Christmas thread on one of the hottest days of the year, yet here we are!

Awww my thread baby last year is now 10 months old and growing up too fast.

I have her and DD1 who is 2.5 years old to buy for but think I'm pretty much almost done for them now thanks to the prequel threads. Still have other family to buy for though.

This year I want to buy the cinnamon buns having resisted them last year as I actually have someone in mind to buy them for.

I’m on the lookout for reusable crackers and reusable gift wrap if anyone sees anything. I remember there being a really good site last year where crafters were selling things like that but I can’t remember what it was!

Tesco has tubs of Heroes, Quality Street etc. for £4 with clubcard.
Christmas is definitely coming...

My second year on this thread, it was absolutely amazing last year, enjoyed it so much!

Just been into Tesco, didn’t look at the Christmas chocs due to the heat. I’ll look on Monday and see if they are still £4 with club card.

If you buy them now you better have somewhere cool too keep them or you will have a choc puddle very quickly!

Last year I found some lovely gifts in the sales of online gift shops, I seem to remember there being a Scottish themed one which had really nice tartan scarfs. Can anyone remember the website?

Oh there is something about hot days in the summer holidays that always get everyone started. Must be mn while chilling I reckon. Lots of history here today, I think I've been here about 8 years but don't type unless I find something interesting.

Can anyone recommend a hooded poncho style towel (adult or teenager sized) for DS who has SEN as is going to be taking lessons with school and will struggle to dry himself and is very conscious of people seeing him
