It feels bizarre setting up the first Christmas thread on one of the hottest days of the year, yet here we are!

Lovely to see you all; take a seat and grab a mince pie as they get passed around.

Please do alert me to anything for the next thread's page of links (I'm starting fresh this year). Hope you've had a good year and looking forward to celebrating and sharing our bargain buys.

Last year, the hot chocolate shakers were popular. I bought one and they make amazing creamy hot choc and I’ve bought some as gifts too.
They’re on sale at the moment from the above web site.

FluffyFluffMonster · 25/08/2022 00:16

The Neom set of 4 oils work out at £36 on asos with the code! Think it ends at 8 am though. Think they are £60 everywhere else

The code WELCOME25 gives 25% off for new customers as well!

Noticed were nearly on the second thread...last year some posters decided to fill up almost the last 70 posts with stupid jingle jangle. Wonder if it's possible to keep that to a minimum this year

Blixem · 25/08/2022 06:22

@JubileeTissues the threads were only filled up with Christmas songs when @Reastie had linked the next one so that people didn't post on the wrong thread.

peasando · 25/08/2022 06:26

@JubileeTissues that's a Christmas bargain thread tradition whenever Reastie's started a new thread, so people don't post on the wrong thread and bargains don't get lost!

Bath humbug 😉

peasando · 25/08/2022 06:27

*Bah!

Lurapuppypants · 25/08/2022 06:52

Thanks for the link. Now have a stocking filler for both kids

Reastie · 25/08/2022 07:04

the gin club - when I try to sign up with the telegraph voucher, it says the carts total is worth less than the discount's minimum amount - did anyone else get this?

New thread coming shortly btw!

Thank you for this! I held off for the Look Fantastic offer earlier because we already have 2 diffusers, so I feel rewarded now!

"the threads were only filled up with Christmas songs when @Reastie had linked the next one so that people didn't post on the wrong thread."

No last year some started before Reastie had had the chance, and way too soon. Coming to the end of thread one just reminded me of how annoying it was!

LeatherJacketWedding · 25/08/2022 11:38

Yes I remember that too @JubileeTissues,
someone took it upon themselves to take over. Happened a few times until a few assertive posters, politely told them to butt out.
no bah humbug needed 🎅🏻

JubileeTissues · 25/08/2022 11:44

Indeed. No bah humbug here! I'd be offended if I wasn't so festive 🎄

peasando · 25/08/2022 11:57

Ah @JubileeTissues actually that does ring a bell, did someone else not take it upon themselves to set up a new thread as well?!?!

I thought you were just objecting to the festive merriment! It was a very friendly winky face bah humbug and I humbly (humbug-ly?) retract it :)

JubileeTissues · 25/08/2022 12:13

Humbug-ly 🤣 love it. All is forgiven, and yes, they also set up a new thread! Too much mulled wine I think.

Jammydodged · 25/08/2022 13:03

I’ve not caught up yet but The Spicery have a sale on also they have a new book with the spices for a discount price £17
I received the set for Xmas last year and we love the curries, I’ve just used someone’s referral off the referral thread which also took 10% off! Stocked up on spices too, all came to £24 which I think is brilliant! I’ve posted my referral on the referral thread.

LeatherJacketWedding · 25/08/2022 14:14

Could somebody kindly link the current referral thread please? Sorry if I sound lazy, but I have searched to no avail. Honest! I just get zombie ones.
