I haven’t seen a thread yet and it’s becoming somewhat of a tradition to be nosey and look in MNetters Xmas fridges.

I love this thread every year. It’s just me, DH and DD (18 months) this year at Christmas. DD will not eat a roast dinner so I plan to do her fish fingers for dinner and DH and I will have a huge cheese and meat platter when she goes to sleep.

Thanks OP, I started this thread last year and got my arse handed to me for not "reading the room" Confused but it was just a bit light heartedness amongst the shite. So I've not had the nerve to start it this year and I love it!

@MakeTeaNotWar I remember that, if it helps I was 100% invested in the fridge pictures.

We're not at home this year so can't contribute but a full fridge, no matter what time of year, brings me joy.

Mines like jenga in there, I dare not even open the door. Somehow I’ve got to get the gammon in there to defrost for Christmas Eve and the Turkey & beef to defrost for Christmas Day. Not sure how I’m going to do that!

We're hosting this year. Turkey's still in the freezer. As we have a baby, everything is pretty much from the packet (I.e. cauliflower cheese, spiced red cabbage, cranberry sauce, stuffing etc), apart from fresh veg.

Here is mine. It is almost empty. This is fantastic as it means we are heading off tomorrow to stay with DD1 and her DP for the Christmas period. After the crushing disappointment of last year this feels wonderful!

Cleaning the fridge is on my list for tomorrow, though, so I might come back and post one! Won’t be all that interesting though, I shouldn’t think, as we’ve kept it quite low key this year.

Mine is ridiculous. But tbf dh tested positive on a lft this morning so I've been out and panic bought alldafood just incase I also get one.

I have plenty of family and friends who would shop for us, but who the fuck wants to face supermarkets for someone else between now and 29th December.

I will footnote that I am very grateful for the food I have (as I am sure everyone else is) and have also donated to a food bank this Christmas as well as throughout the year. This is lighthearted nosiness! Xmas SmileXmas Smile
