And I’m up at 3:40am so thought I’d check out if there are any bargains that I need 😁

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@Methenyouplus4 I can pop into our Primark tomorrow on my way to work, they had all the grey ones hung up on a slat wall earlier when I walked past so can check sizes for you

@ChristmasLightsAndSparkles

That's a nice saving on the Flybar pogo sticks at Skatehut *@Puffalicious*

Can anyone advise on whether to get the Maverick or the Master Flybar pogo stick for a tall and active but light (29kg) 9 year old?

The Maverick says it's 'entry level' (does that mean less bouncy?) for ages 5-9 and 18-36kg

The Master says age 9+ and 36-72kg

I'm inclined to go for the Master (for more bounciness, and so that it isn't outgrown in a year) but will it work properly below the recommended weight? I know that with a toy like this it really does need to work well.

I don't know if you've already decided, but similarly I have a light 9 yo but went for the Master so it's not outgrown quickly. I popped in a sticker for £2 to get free postage!
Thisisbatshit · 27/11/2021 20:29

One of my children likes the naughtiest unicorn books. There is a Christmas one I've had in my amazon basket a while and it dropped to £1.50 just now. (Also the works gas it the same price)

book here

Puffalicious · 27/11/2021 20:29

@jocktamsonsbairn

Any sightings of cuthbert the caterpillar toy in west central Scotland? One desperately needed/wanted and none in sight. Hundreds of kilted Kevin's but no Cuthbert!
My Aldi had some today- Cardonald. I can nip over tomorrow to see if there's still one left if you like?
Namechangesagain · 27/11/2021 20:43

@Methenyouplus4 not sure if you saw my message on the last thread. They have them in my local primark but only womans in xl not sure what the difference is? Let me know

Namechangesagain · 27/11/2021 20:45

Possibly the most niche offering but I have a discount code for hangloose at the eden project and bluewater

@louisethedisease

My dd12 has asked for dream smp merch for Christmas, does anyone have any ideas on what I can get for her please? It's all new to me.
@louisethedisease if there is a specific character that she likes then you can search Google, ebay or amazon for the name of that character followed by dream smp. Etsy often has some stuff too.

In the past I got a ranboo printed t-shirt and hoodie. Tommy and tubbo compass here

lmanburg flag,

dream smp yootooz, character prints of etsy and eBay, a pencil case.
There is lots of rubbish 😆 to choose from

@VividImaginationAgain thank you! Not come across them and it's perfect (in fact, I've just seen a hat, gloves and scarf set that would have been perfect for her birthday in October as well). @mrs12345 if you were able to offer a referral code I'd be very grateful!

Whydidimarryhim · 27/11/2021 20:47

I am after some boys European/international football shirts for my son. Ive checked M and M direct - there was another recommendation but Ive forgotten it and has anyone bought any from Aliexpress and what are they like.
Thanks

Dreamingofwalden · 27/11/2021 20:49

Thank you for your advice re: rechargeable batteries @Uniross and @happytobemrsg. Much appreciated Xmas Smile

louisethedisease · 27/11/2021 20:49

@Cutestbaby brilliant thanks. I'll take a look. She likes Ranboo best and Karl jacobs

imsureineverdo · 27/11/2021 20:51

gvb8 · 27/11/2021 21:01

Loulouli · 27/11/2021 21:09

I loved the Facetheory website, not sure if it has been mentioned already but MADABOUTSKIN25 worked on top of the current Black Friday deals Smile

DillieDoily · 27/11/2021 21:44

Just bought the Look Fantastic Black Friday beauty boxes and the Naughtiest Unicorn books- total bargains! Thanks to the PP for sharing them

VaprousDropProfound · 27/11/2021 21:49

Apologies if already mentioned, I had been looking for a BlackFriday deal on Apple AirPods (2nd gen). Just found them at mobilephones4u airpods. For 54.99, nearly half price of Amazon etc. Good reviews. I had to buy 2 sets, so saved nearly £100.that makes up for all the other ‘bargains’ you lot have seduced me into buying!

AlexinMotherland · 27/11/2021 21:54

Thank you for trying @PenguinTattoo sounds like a fun day out for you! I hope you got what you needed after all that!

BabbleBee · 27/11/2021 21:58

I’ve been looking at family Christmas pyjamas this evening and all I can say is wow! The retailers have really jumped on the theme haven’t they?! I can’t believe how expensive they are this year.

QueenOfThorns · 27/11/2021 22:02

@Whatapalava67 not a clue, sorry. I take DD to her swimming lesson on a Sunday morning, which is why I was hoping against hope they’d be there today.

unfortunateevents · 27/11/2021 22:03

Thank you to whoever mentioned the Lookfantastic boxes and code, DS1s girlfriend is now coming to use for Christmas and I've pretty much done her stocking in one swoop with that purchase. Some very good reductions on other brands like Aesop on that site too.

Clementine8 · 27/11/2021 22:06

@Thisisbatshit what age are the unicorn books for?

@Whydidimarryhim have a look at amazon, i’ve had european team kits from there in the past and they weren’t that expensive.

I don’t think they are genuine apple AirPods, It just says they are compatible with apple not that they are apple AirPods.

Also the trustpilot reviews are not great.

I think they are fake AirPods.

Iknowitisheresomewhere · 27/11/2021 22:17

Family Pyjamas - if you don’t mind second hand, then I recommend looking at Next this year and then looking on eBay for those next year. I don’t get adults ones but I have bought a v good quality kids ones second hand.

Tha k you, I've just ordered for dd2. We've only read the first book, but she enjoyed it.
RJnomore1 · 27/11/2021 22:25

Thank you for the look fantastic box. I decided to buy it as the 111skin mask is great and worth more than £15 on its own. Free postage at £25 so with the Black Friday offers and codes I got two fruit hand gels, two lip balms and two sheet masks for my girls stockings and a banana conditioner for me, all for £25.45 delivered.
