I'm so annoyed with Matalan!! DH saw some boots (only thing he's asked for). They didn't have the right size in store so I ordered online. Since had emergency c section with DS2, checked the order that arrived on Thursday and they e sent the wrong boots and now are out of stock online 😭😭 the ones they've sent are damaged too so not even giftable. They have refunded but I need the boots!

If anyone is near a Matalan and sees these www.matalan.co.uk/product/detail/s2843903_c526/tan-leather-chukka-boots-tan in a size 11, and is willing to post, I'd be forever grateful and cover all costs.

DH has been an angel this year with me having HG and taking over house and childcare duties along working full time and caring for me.

@LadyNina00 I have just been trying to work that out. Look to be based in the market in Belfast. Search of the address takes to MY Old Toybox which is active on Facebook but doesn't have it's own site. Does have an email address though.
So might be worth messaging them?

@LastStarFighter I’ve had a look round, search ghost face on Etsy and there’s lots. Some scary but you can get a wee lego figure for about £3, reusable cups with the straws for £12 and things like that.

Also the argos stools are £50 now must have been on an offer at the time 😁

Unless there is anyone on here who is in Belfast and knows the markets and can advise? I have been but not for years.

Thank you for the Facetheory recommendation. I’d not heard of it before and they have some highly rated products for rosacea which I’m going to try - would have been rude not to with that discount!

@UltimateProcrastinator it is really good stuff,can't believe the difference it's made to my skin! If you don't see a difference in your skin they refund for up to a year too. There are always 25-30% codes if you google or follow their Facebook page so I haven't paid full price yet.

Absolutely gutted, I ordered my sons main Christmas present from Halfords - a scooter - and they delivered it today without any external packaging. Worse, DHL left it outside and my son saw it when he opened the door.

This was top of his Christmas list and it’s a really specific scooter as well.

He has already asked me why I bought it and does Father Christmas exist.

I told him I didn’t buy it and maybe it was delivered here by mistake 😫 any bright ideas to help me save this situation?

@LadyNina00 no worries. The estimated value for duff is £30, you may find one on eBay or I can look on the groups for you? Some of the pops can reach ridiculous prices, one of the ones my dd is after is £140 (she’s not getting it lol) but they can run into the thousands!
