Reastie · 26/11/2021 03:41

And I’m up at 3:40am so thought I’d check out if there are any bargains that I need 😁

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Referral thread here to use for if you’re posting your personal referral link to others.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Does anyone have an All Beauty referral code at all? It seems to.be the best price for the Clinique Happy I was after.

Coronado2 · 26/11/2021 23:53

Has anyone seen any good deals on champagne? It's normally included in asdas 25% off when you buy 6 or more bottles, but it's not this time and I wanted to get a few bottles for presents. Plus maybe a few for me Grin

Lurleene · 27/11/2021 00:00

@OliverBabish I don't know any codes for their website but Angel has a Chateau range at Argos which may be cheaper. Just search Chateau or Strawbridge Argos

Also don't know if you know but Dick and Angel are touring in the New Year. The tour is called Dare to Do It.

AlexinMotherland · 27/11/2021 00:10

Tesco have champagne in their 25% off deal @Coronado2

ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy · 27/11/2021 00:16

It's in Sainsbury's 25% off too, @Coronado2.

thaegumathteth · 27/11/2021 00:24

Anyone think of anything I'm missing that's essential for a shoebox for a teenage boy? It's through the local food bank....

So far have :
Laser guns
Playing cards
Hat
Snood
Warm socks
Wallet
Water bottle
Hair gel
Toothbrush and paste
Shower gel
Deodorant
Sweets

unfortunateevents · 27/11/2021 00:28

What is the deal with sockshop codes which people keep mentioning? Both adult DSs love CK boxers but without some discount it isn't happening!

Coronado2 · 27/11/2021 00:44

Thanks Alex & That's , I must have missed those starting, I checked last week and neither had offers on.

Ironess · 27/11/2021 03:17

Got up to let the elderly dog out and ended up buying Ugg's for dd 😂🙈

NisekoWhistler · 27/11/2021 04:13

@ilovebrie8

Does anyone know of JL refund food items? Nothing to do with the glitch I didn’t order ....I bought some biscuits as Xmas gifts but they are not the ones the person wanted...will they redund or exchange them does anyone know? Thnaks
I know when I've tried to return a hamper it's been declined, so I think you may face the same problem
MummyPebble · 27/11/2021 05:53

Has anyone seen any bargain mittens on a string for a 5 year old please? Sick of her coming back from school with the one kitten and not buying anymore now unless they’re on a string, at least that way they’re both lost then!!

In return I offer - my favourite subscription box, Single Swag is offering December’s box for 50% off with code FRIYAY. Normally $39.99, code takes it down to $20 and it’s $26.99 posted which I thought was pretty good. It is a subscription so you’ll need to cancel but I’m always subscribing and cancelling and it’s quick and easy. Box is worth over $200 and if you look on their Facebook they normally have the contents so you can have a look before you buy. www.singlesswag.com/subscribe/?utm_source=Main+Singles+Swag+List&utm_campaign=846bdea767-Last+Chance+June_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_4385d36b81-846bdea767-130520394&ct=t(Y_COPY_01)&mc_cid=846bdea767&mc_eid=ab347631e4

MummyPebble · 27/11/2021 05:54

MITTEN!!! Not kitten, MITTEN

IggyAce · 27/11/2021 06:24

@MummyPebble just buy some elastic and sew a mitten on each end.

Large Cadbury’s bar is still at £5.90 Link
The chocolate bar is an impressive size and would be perfect to bulk out a present pile.

That sounds good. I'd return the laser guns and put a gift card in for costa or pret but that's just my personal preference. I like feeding people!

How big is your shoe box? Could you fit a t shirt packed flat at the bottom of the box? Stationary?

SpamIAm · 27/11/2021 06:42

Started wrapping last night 💃 obviously had a good play with my M&S gin bottles before wrapping, hopefully there'll be enough battery left for the recipients to get some joy out of them as well 😂

I bought three H&B beauty boxes and topped up with a few other bits along the way. Have picked out a couple of oteans each for MIL and DH's aunty. Was planning to put rejigged boxes together for two friends and my sister. But there's so much stuff! Might do a little box for my mum as well - even split between all them I think they'll still be more than generous. Such a bargain!

sunshinyday12 · 27/11/2021 06:44

@MummyPebble

MITTEN!!! Not kitten, MITTEN
This is my fave ever post on this thread. Coming home from school with the one kitten. Got me properly giggling. Which I needed. Thank you 😂
TableSetting · 27/11/2021 06:52

@thaegumathteth if you do keep the laser guns, add some extra batteries.
A small book about card games.

DentalWorries · 27/11/2021 06:55

Not champagne but I was very pleasantly surprised at the price of the Prosecco in M&S yesterday. Picked up a couple of very Christmassy gold magnums for £20 each which will be perfect for our Christmas drinks party. I’m also very excited to try their premixed vanilla espresso martini which apparently won a Good Housekeeping award

PhantomErik · 27/11/2021 06:56

Me too Ironess Grin

Had to let my old DDogs out so had a quick look & managed to order the last pair of Christmas pyjamas that I needed! They've
been out of stock for a few days but other sizes kept being available then going again.

QueenOfThorns · 27/11/2021 07:04

If anyone’s looking for Castle Panic, I’ve found it for £19.60 here (although they only have a few left): www.waylandgames.co.uk/campaign-battle-card-driven/9658-castle-panic?search_query=Castle+panic&results=5

Free delivery when you spend £20, so I added some dice for £1.68!

ChristmasLightsAndSparkles · 27/11/2021 07:37

That's a nice saving on the Flybar pogo sticks at Skatehut @Puffalicious

Can anyone advise on whether to get the Maverick or the Master Flybar pogo stick for a tall and active but light (29kg) 9 year old?

The Maverick says it's 'entry level' (does that mean less bouncy?) for ages 5-9 and 18-36kg

The Master says age 9+ and 36-72kg

I'm inclined to go for the Master (for more bounciness, and so that it isn't outgrown in a year) but will it work properly below the recommended weight? I know that with a toy like this it really does need to work well.

MsJuniper · 27/11/2021 07:46

@Yourmomgoestocollege you can pay with a card even if you open an account for the saving so don't need to use the credit. I just bought the Switch bundle with Mario + Minecraft for £215. If you do use the credit I'd pay within the month.

Very is a weird site I find - I was looking for other items on my list to buy with the discount and the site is so big but seems to have nothing I want/need! Managed to get an Oodie type thing but other than that a bit blah.

bigarse1 · 27/11/2021 07:54

Has anyone seen the max beanie boo that was brought out to support autism? I need to buy three or more and know I have seen them somewhere but can't find them anywhere? Thanks

Elphaba17 · 27/11/2021 08:06

The Jolly Christmas Postman is £6.50 on Amazon.
