I'm quite possibly showing my age here, but if anyone will know the answer to this then it's you lovely lot. Youngest Dd has just told me (I thought she was asleep when I popped in for a goodnight kiss, but nope) that middle Dd is going to ask Santa for a skateboard deck to have in her bedroom. When I said I'd never heard of one, she said she thinks it's a skateboard without wheels....so I'm guessing it's to look nice/trip over/rapidly grow bored of? If anyone could clarify what one is, and where I might source a "pale green pretty one" I'd really appreciate it please.

Yes, you can buy just the deck without wheels. Skatehut has several, there’s probably other places but I’ve bought scooters from here with no problem.

Well ho ho ho and hello festive people. I do enjoy these threads, have been lurking and buying for a while.

I wonder if anyone could help me with kids skateboards? It’s for my niece, 9 but fairly petite, presumably will need some protective gear as well. She’s never had one but is pretty athletic, scoots and roller skates....literally don’t know where to start.
