All time favourite Christmas song?

Mines got to be Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Frank Sinatra, but the modern versions (Buble, Sam Smith Et al) are also grand.

This song just instantly puts me in the Christmas mood. Hot chocolates, stockings hanging from the fireplace, cosy jumpers, frost on the windows, love and laughter

The others I love are It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas, Merry Christmas Everyone. and Silent Night (ok that's a carol, but same thing).

Band aid.. do they know it's Christmas, is my all time favourite. I have such amazing memories growing up listening to my dad singing along to it in the car whilst driving over night to stay with my grandparents for Xmas. The first time I catch the first few bars of the intro I immediately feel happier and Christmassy.

I really do bloody love them all but Elton John - Step Into Christmas has to be my favourite !! Instant smile on my face, makes me want to dance, just love it.

Hymn- O Little Town of Bethlehem or Once in Royal David's City. All the verses. Loudly.

But basically all of them except anything that Bublé or Jenkins have been at.

Driving home for Christmas is one of my favourites.

The Phil Spector Christmas album! Every bit of it as it reminds me of being a small child when Christmas is the most exciting. I especially love the version of White Christmas on there. It's the first Christmas album I play every year when I decorate my tree!

I love all the oldies in fact, such as Last Christmas, Driving Home, Step In etc etc.

Also, there were a few chart hits that weren't Christmas songs but were released around Christmas during the late 80s / early 90s that always make me feel festive, such as Dear Jessie by Madonna, I'll Sail this Ship Alone by Beautiful South, This One by Paul McCartney. I think there was a TOTP that I watched on repeat during the run up to Christmas one year!
