I'm a Christmas lover and love all things Christmas so far we have booked;

A centre parks Christmas weekend
Ice skating
The local pantomime
Christmas markets another weekend
A visit to Santa and a Santa train
A family dinner at a local hotel that does a great roast.
My workplace family Christmas celebration

What have you booked...looking for any other ideas to add in!!
I'm so excited!

Kew and Selfridges Christmas Market.

LadyTiredWinterBottom2 · 05/11/2021 20:30

I think you need to change your user name to Christmassynuts

Panto and a walk around a Christmas themed light show in a garden - like Bedgebury but not there.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 05/11/2021 20:31

Local pantomime and the grotto- that’s it from me. Kids too young for skating.

BakewellGin1 · 05/11/2021 20:38

@BakewellGin1 You NE I take it?
Where is the Imagination Play Place?

GrandDuchessRomanov · 05/11/2021 20:41

What's your AIBU OP?

There is a whole area dedicated to Christmas elsewhere.

StormyCornishSeas · 05/11/2021 20:41

@MLMshouldbeillegal

There is a specific Christmas forum for this sort of drivel.

YABU for not using it.

The Poncetastic Christmas thread is not drivel Hmm

I was thinking exactly the same, apart from being totally unreasonable not to use the Christmas topic what is your AIBU?
PinkiOcelot · 05/11/2021 20:47

Absolutely nothing at all.

MrsSkylerWhite · 05/11/2021 20:48

Absolutely nothing. Fantastic!

hels71 · 05/11/2021 20:49

Local panto, but only because DD is in it.

RJnomore1 · 05/11/2021 20:52

Christmas Eve dinner out
Christmas Country living Fayre
Work night out
Several food orders

That’s it, my kids are grown so no santa. Will add a cinema trip and a pantomime at some point.

BeyondMyWits · 05/11/2021 20:53

We love Christmas too, but don't book anything. The kids will be home from uni looking for some serious downtime, PJ days, cocoa with marshmallows, mulled wine and cinnamon cookies, Christmas movies and music, making gingerbread to decorate... too much to fit into a short holiday (they both go back to uni for New year parties with friends).

esloquehay · 05/11/2021 20:53

Sweet FA.

rrhuth · 05/11/2021 20:55

Absolutely nothing. I love Christmas but we will see a) how the mood takes us and b) how the land lies nearer the time.

Harsh, but fair.

chrissysmusts · 05/11/2021 21:03

Totally didn't realize there was a Christmas forum sorry...posted here for traffic

@BakewellGin1 bowling sounds great! I might book that at some stage too!! We can wear out Christmas jumpers 🤣🤣

Booked? I haven't booked anything. Was I supposed to?

BitterTits · 05/11/2021 21:08

Christmas lights somewhere? Not that your lot are going to miss out Grin

DoctorSnortles · 05/11/2021 21:09

I haven’t booked anything. Spent over £60 on a Christmassy wankfest last year that DH vetoed at the last minute (rightly, I must say) due to high Covid rates. As I am the only person in my house who enjoys Christmassy stuff anyway, I can no longer be arsed to drag them all with me. I will sit at home and eat Quality Street instead.

Hopefully there’s a board for condescending pricks too
maddening · 05/11/2021 21:11

Christmas Carol concert at the cathedral, Christmas Dinner with the aqua class group, a double birthday celebration out out in Liverpool

Also will possibly do a Christmas lights locally and possibly a pantomime. That will pretty much take up all my free weekends in December.

Tal45 · 05/11/2021 21:11

God there's nothing I hate more than a pantomime. I'm all about light displays though, looking forward to going to Blenheim Palace to see theirs this year.
