What have you booked for Christmas so far?

I'm a Christmas lover and love all things Christmas so far we have booked;

A centre parks Christmas weekend
Ice skating
The local pantomime
Christmas markets another weekend
A visit to Santa and a Santa train
A family dinner at a local hotel that does a great roast.
My workplace family Christmas celebration

What have you booked...looking for any other ideas to add in!!

Panto and a walk around a Christmas themed light show in a garden - like Bedgebury but not there.

Local pantomime and the grotto- that’s it from me. Kids too young for skating.

Pantomime
Christmas Light Walk at Beamish Hall and meal in the restaurant there afterwards.
The Grinch at the Cinema for Oldest DS followed by Pizza Hut
Santa Visit at the Imagination Play Place for youngest DS
Bowling Christmas Eve Morning
Christmas Walk and Reindeer Visit at Local Garden Centre
Weekend to Krakow (no kids)
Meal with Work
Night Out with DH Work
Oldest DS Football Party
Tea with my Friends
New Year's Trip Away

I was thinking exactly the same, apart from being totally unreasonable not to use the Christmas topic what is your AIBU?

That’s it, my kids are grown so no santa. Will add a cinema trip and a pantomime at some point.

We love Christmas too, but don't book anything. The kids will be home from uni looking for some serious downtime, PJ days, cocoa with marshmallows, mulled wine and cinnamon cookies, Christmas movies and music, making gingerbread to decorate... too much to fit into a short holiday (they both go back to uni for New year parties with friends).

Absolutely nothing. I love Christmas but we will see a) how the mood takes us and b) how the land lies nearer the time.

Christmas lights somewhere? Not that your lot are going to miss out

I haven’t booked anything. Spent over £60 on a Christmassy wankfest last year that DH vetoed at the last minute (rightly, I must say) due to high Covid rates. As I am the only person in my house who enjoys Christmassy stuff anyway, I can no longer be arsed to drag them all with me. I will sit at home and eat Quality Street instead.

Christmas Carol concert at the cathedral, Christmas Dinner with the aqua class group, a double birthday celebration out out in Liverpool

Also will possibly do a Christmas lights locally and possibly a pantomime. That will pretty much take up all my free weekends in December.

God there's nothing I hate more than a pantomime. I'm all about light displays though, looking forward to going to Blenheim Palace to see theirs this year.
