OK, i feel like im about to burst and its getting worse every day so i think i need to write it all down..

Im 20 and have 2 ds's and this is my first xmas on my own, Im not spending it with my mum because she moved away a while ago and cant get down there, Im not spending it with my dps family as they do not like me or anyone there ds goes out with and have sworn not to invite me this year even though ive been seeing him a year now.

I was supposed to be spending it with my brothers who live in the midlands like me but they were in a little car crash and the car was written off luckily no one was hurt but now i have no way off getting to theres on xmas so that has been cancelled.

Yes its bothering me that i am spending xmas with so few ppl this year but it would be bearable if i had even a little money to do it with.

See income support have cut my money off because i refuse to claim child maintanence as it would cause stress and possibly harm to me and my boys leaving me in a bad state with money, add that onto the fact that i already have a 3 1/2 grand debt that i cant pay off and the council are threatening to kick me out and its just dire, This week i cant even afford to buy milk for ds2 and next week ill be lucky if i can buy nappies...

I have barely any food in the house and no drink other than water so i cant make an xmas dinner other than cheap chips and beans, I havnt even brought many presents for the boys because moneys tight but i have run up a debt now with littlewoods on creditto buy them what i have.

Add to this the fact that my ds1 is 3 on the 29th and then theres news years eve which will be spent in the same was as xmas then u might grasp how im feeling at the moment..

I just dont know how to cope this year or even if ill have a house the next one if things carry on the way they are..

If you got this far then thanks for listening to me...

how wierd....the first one just said that I wanted to help you towards having a nice dinner on Christmas day and so that the telly woudn't get taken away as that would be such a shame for the children as I know mine love all the childrens films and so on that is on around then.

Strange that it was blank, but then again I am a bitof a technical doofus![cgrin]

Have a great day - we will be thinking of you all.

Hi Wilted Rose, I was in a similar situation about 3 years ago and for christmas dinner we had crackers and cheese the financial situation was the same so many people asking me for money and no one helping me out. An abusive ex partner and absolutely no confidence. A girl that I lived in a hostel with game me the telephone number of our local Welcare and they were absolutely fantastic.

Welcare provided my children with clothes they helped me renegotiate my bills and paid off the most urgent ones. They put me in touch with my local church and I got one of the Harvest Boxes one year and they sent the children birthday presents, they sent me off for domestic violence counselling and got me reintouch with my HV and social services who both provided me with unlimited support and help.

They are a fantastic organisation.

My heart is with you, I know what you are going through and I know exactly how frightening it is. Please keep your chin up, it will get better! I promise! x

lilmissmummy · 14/12/2007 13:10

Oh the website for welcare is www.welcare.org. alternatively contact your doctor or HV and they can recommend you. Good luck- let us know how you get on! x

TheWiltedRose · 14/12/2007 13:20

thanks lilmiss ill give it a look glad things are better for you now!

Hi i haven't had any emails i think its my account as it seems to reject alot of them, i probably need to adjust the settings or something on my computer. Will email you my mobile number and you can text me if you want instead of relying on my stupid hotmail.
We can arrange to meet up for a coffee or take the kids somewhere x

TheWiltedRose · 14/12/2007 15:37

Hi

Wileted

Just letting you know courier is booked for Monday, unfortunatly we cant send the tree as its a fibre optic one and the lights dont work (granadad didnt notice that and the fact one on the legs of the base is missing so it wont stand )

But good news is we had a few goodies in there, and my gran has a Christmas present for each of your sons, as have I.

My mums included some things,

and my Auntie and Grandad have put together and are send a £50 ASDA VOUCHER

Merry Christmas

Wow, that's a really sad start to a thread lass, I'm sending you cyber hugs.
I really really do feel for you and I hope there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
The only advice I can give you is to gather all the stuff on your finances and situation, take them and yourself down to the citizens advice buro and do what ever they tell you to do!
They are the people in the know and you can be totally honest with them and they will only advise and help not judge you.
Unfortunately they may not be able to help straight away as there services are highly in demand but they WILL help even if it's not in time to save your christmas

Bridie3 · 14/12/2007 16:08

I'm sorry to hear this and hope your Christmas goes better than you're fearing.

KittyLetteItSnow · 14/12/2007 16:09
