And I've only gone and bought stollen bites and mini florentines - What are the chances of them lasting til Christmas??

My guess is very slim chances indeed.

I might just have to run a trial to see which are the best items to get later Wink

I don't think it's about worrying about Christmas foods - rather it's how yummy they are and good to eat at any time.

Aldi mini florentines are the business.

Lidl have all the stollen and whatnot out too, saw it all earlier.

I got some lebekuchen, mini mince pies and matchmakers the other day. Had me a tiny festive feast!

Buying mincemeat this weekend and the Xmas chocolates like coins for stockings and selection boxes. Purely because last year, I couldn't find them ANYWHERE and I'm not going through that rigmarole again. I've also bought a butter basted Turkey joint, some gammon and joint of beef to pop in the freezer just in case this meat fiasco they're all warning us about comes to pass. I like vegetarian food but I definitely want my full Christmas dinner!

Lidl's stollen bits are my (German) DH's absolute favourite.

(My DD38 got all excited yesterday when she was helping me unpack my Tesco shop because the teabag packaging has Christmas imagery. I taught her well.)

3 months to Boxing Day. I will be buying the buffet ham and the beef next week (while I still have petrol) so that I can then stop worrying about the supply chain collapsing.
