And I've only gone and bought stollen bites and mini florentines - What are the chances of them lasting til Christmas??

My guess is very slim chances indeed.

I might just have to run a trial to see which are the best items to get later Wink

About 3-4 years ago I bought a Lemon Curd Pannatonne (I'm sure it was Lidl rather than Aldi but not 100% sure)
Ive seen similar in TKMaxx but they're huge and ££ and look like they have rind
The one I bought was small with pockets of lemon curd

I could buy a plain one and spread lemon curd
I can even make my own lemon curd < halo>

I'm poised for The Snowman toilet roll ............. Xmas Grin

Tesco have stollen cookies, I'll just leave this here.........

After reading this thread I went to Aldi today. It was only a small one but got my DH pigs in blankets and turkey and stuffing crisps. There was also beef wellington flavour.

Got the mini florentines, mini stollen bites and the rum and raisin and hazelnut marzipan bars. I’ll sample them to let you know if they’re good Wink

I've picked up a few bits in Tesco and The Range over the last couple of weeks...

Variations on a chocolate orange theme as we all love them...White choc segments and milk choc crispies for DD, dark choc oranges for £1 for me and mum

Baileys choco leibniz biscuits

Couple of individual christmas puds as I'm the only person that eats them

Tesco crumble topped mince pies aren't coming out with long enough dates yet but I've already gotten through 3 boxes Blush.

Waiting for their caramel button, Maltese, salted pretzel and peanut mix to appear too.

It’s been a shit nearly couple of years. If Christmas starts early this year, bring it on.

We bought Christmas lights in the Range yesterday and it was so much fun.

If you want to ignore it, then go for it. Others don’t.

Geepee71 · 15/10/2021 21:13

Oh that reminds me I need to go and check out the Christmas stuff in the Range.

FlatterNow · 16/10/2021 07:44

@70isaLimitNotaTarget is the Snowman toilet roll from Aldi? That sounds amazing!

Anotherlovelybitofsquirrel · 16/10/2021 08:03

Very odd that people on the Christmas board moan about it being too early 😂

They probably dont realise it's the Christmas board if the topic came up in the active box.

It's soooo good!!!

My colour scheme of choice hasn't been very well respresented in recent years...red, but with silver and white and a bit bling/contemporary rather than Scandi.

I spent nearly 60 quid in there last week Blush, although have gone about fluffier than usual!

Geepee71 · 16/10/2021 19:13

@MintyCedric I'm planning to pop in tomorrow, can't wait.
