@filthyforfirth they are the little plasticy kind of figures that can be stacked, there used to be loads of mystery bags of them in the shops. I checked amazon - the same christmas tin is £11 on there so a good bargain x

Has anyone seen an instant print/Polaroid camera for a 5 year old? Not looking for Instax type prices as he has the attention span of a gnat!

The moon is lovely. It lights up in the same way a real moon does via the remote control so you can choose to have a full moon or crescent type thing. It can be hung on the wall. We’ve had ours for 9 years now and it’s still loved!

@RIBlue a camera with thermal paper might be cheaper?

Amazon have loads of kid cameras with thermal paper and vetch kidizoom printcam is being released this month. Granddaughter will be 5 at Christmas and not quite ready for a Polaroid so the printcam is on the list.

Don’t know if it is any use to anyone but Vistaprint are having a 2 day sale. We used them for all of our wedding invitations and I’d had some canvasses printed by them. Shipping isn’t the fastest but the quality is good.

@Chocolateemergency the moonlight was £13.10 so not a massive reduction from what it is now but still a few more pounds saved

I think it was Hearst (thank you), but I'll check out all of those as it's a specific mag I was looking at.

Brand Alley have done really nice wooden toys and puzzles including role play (cooking/dr) from £6. Nice "cake making" set with mixer, flour, butter etc

Skinnydip has a sale on at the moment - I’d never heard of them until I saw something of theirs on the John Lewis website and looked if I could get it cheaper/ with free postage… they do 20% student discount on full price stuff and free postage over £30. The free postage wasn’t coming off for me but their customer service staff were really helpful and got it sorted
I got a couple of packs of these Christmas Facemasks £1 for 2 which would make a nice advent calendar/ stocking filler or token Christmas gift.
