please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@TheLastStarfighter, thank you re the sloth. You are so kind, looks perfect!

Any idea on a £5 present for the man who never wants anything (DH)? Children have instigated a secret santa which is lovely but just means I am in charge of evern more presents.

Puffincrossing · 22/11/2020 18:41

Not necessarily the cheapest option but have you looked at buying directly from Nintendo coffee? At the start of March lockdown DD wanted a switch and they had sold out everywhere, obviously Nintendo themselves were first to restock. Pre ordered, free delivery, teeny problem with order, rectified swiftly with £10 compensation. They do 10% student discount as well. I've just used it to buy a Mario Kart.

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 22/11/2020 18:45

winewolfhowls · 22/11/2020 19:07

Do we think rex London will have money off soon? Lots of stocking fillers I have my eye on!

nothingcomestonothing · 22/11/2020 19:19

Thanks for the Kukubird leggings code on the last thread, they arrived on saturday and are super soft and bright, leggy 12 year old DD will love them. Word of warning though, the packet did say what they were, so I had to think on my feet when said DD picked the post off the mat and said 'mum why are you buying yoga leggings?' Grin

winewolfhowls · 22/11/2020 19:28

Also, does anyone have a lakeland code please, my kids have chocolate spoons in their stockings every year and they are only 2.99 on there. Plus some non bargainous chocolate for a fountain (we will borrow) to make Xmas eve special. Thanks

CompleteBarstool · 22/11/2020 19:33

Scout2016 · 22/11/2020 19:35

@MrsJamTart and @Daisy829

Thank you both. I have just gone a bit spendy mad on Schleich now. She has birthday couple of days after Christmas so got some realistic looking horses for Christmas and couple of fantasy horses for birthday. (And a couple for my DD's birthday soon after because....well, the postage was already crazy and bargain aspect well blown...)

TheGriffle · 22/11/2020 19:41

Argos have 25% their Christmas trees. Got 2 of these fibre optic trees for £11.25 each, similar sort of thing was £19.99 in the garden centre today so nice little saving for my girls bedrooms.

deeplybaffled · 22/11/2020 19:46

Can anyone recommend any way of getting a discount on duplo, specifically the frozen castle? I appreciate that I might be asking for the moon on a stick....

Tailrunner · 22/11/2020 19:52

Were there some posts about nice toasting forks for marshmallows earlier in the threads? I seem to remember reading something but now that I have decided I need them I can't find it anywhere.
