Argghhhh, I’m so sorry, I hope I haven’t lost you all! I was keeping a beady eye then got distracted trying to work out how to forward plan a Zoom call for work and invite someone, which should only take a few minutes but I’m incompetent and it took me far too long Blush .

@CarrotVan I hope it was the former!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Yeknom · 12/11/2020 07:02

@Icantfindanewname huge congratulations on finishing your chemo, I hope the next set of treatment goes just as brilliantly xx

Bezzi · 12/11/2020 07:03

These bracelets are cute here and a bargain!
There are plenty of other designs too there at either £5 or £8. Good stocking fillers or for the PP who wanted jewellery for the young child's jewellery box

Breastfeedingworries · 12/11/2020 07:18

Marking my place looking for offer on Duplo and toys. Thanks for the amazing thread. Are people posting when the offers run out too?

For the pp who was after hot choc ideas, this looks quite good:www.chocolate.co.uk/products/hot-chocolate-shaker
On a separate subject, does anyone have any recommendations for alternatives to copic markers - the cheaper the better!

Serendipitystardust · 12/11/2020 07:38

Link fail - try again!

Purpletoes · 12/11/2020 07:41

bezzi thank you just picked up some stocking and friend gifts

CeeceeBloomingdale · 12/11/2020 07:42

Amazing news @Icantfindanewname!

ThePurpleGirl · 12/11/2020 07:47
@HoHoHolyMackerel My real Oodie is my favourite thing I own, I’d say go for it. But wait till there’s a sale (Black Friday?) so you get it around the £50 mark.

@ThePurpleGirl thanks for the Lego Mario heads up- I’m after about 5 different sets of that
@luckiestgirl Amazon have several other Lego Mario sets on offer today. I just got the Yoshi and Piranha Slide expansion packs for £19.99 each.
With the Starter pack at £38 it made it almost as good a deal as the Tesco 3 for 2 (total £78 instead of £75), and my Tesco didn't stock all three anyway!

VividImagination · 12/11/2020 07:49

XMAS10 should give £10 off £100 at Matalan

Gooseysgirl · 12/11/2020 07:51

Anyone ever had a parcel stolen from their doorstep? Unfortunately I was out longer than I expected to be yesterday and the parcel would have been visibly there for several hours 😫 Amazon are going to replace it (which I think is very decent of them) but it may not get here in time for Christmas.

If you sign up to Craft Stash website you'll get 20% off your first order.
They have Copics but other alternatives are Nuvo, Altenew, Promarker by Windsor and Newton, or Spectrum Noir, basically any pen that is described as an alcohol marker.

MyHouse2011 · 12/11/2020 08:16

@farnworth could you link to the hotel chocolat 5 boxes on qvc please? I can’t find them. Thanks

ritzbiscuits · 12/11/2020 08:25

@ButtonMoonLoon how about a subscription to Runner's World Magazine

Must be an equivalent for Cycling too.

Likely to be this set

Good value but for me the flavours are a bit weird.

This is a good deal

good deal

Looking at the video this can be split into individual gifts. May be not quite as well presented as the first set though.

ritzbiscuits · 12/11/2020 08:27

@BalaamsAss @Serendipitystardust
My hot chocolate shaker has arrived and will make a hot choc over the weekend. Will report back as could be a good option for those who don't want to spend velvetiser prices.

weebarra · 12/11/2020 08:29

Weird Fish have 30% off with a further 10% with BF10.
@Icantfindanewname - well done! I hope you find rads a walk in the park after chemo! I used Moo Goo skin care on my irradiated body - it's an Australian brand originally formulated for cows' udders!

Twistcurl · 12/11/2020 08:37

I have just got the Hotel Chocolat TSV from QVC, I think it is a bargain for £39.92 delivered (using the £10 referral code, mine is on that thread now). It has 22 selector packs in it which are £20 for 6 on hotel chocolat’s own website. It will be perfect to split up for childcare gifts.
