Argghhhh, I’m so sorry, I hope I haven’t lost you all! I was keeping a beady eye then got distracted trying to work out how to forward plan a Zoom call for work and invite someone, which should only take a few minutes but I’m incompetent and it took me far too long Blush .

@CarrotVan I hope it was the former!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

This is the Space Masks offer - apologies if it’s already been posted.

Are there any John Lewis or Marks and Spencer discount vouchers around please?
I've had stuff in my basket for days in the hope they might email me one, but no joy Grin

Cheesybiscuitsmineallmine · 10/11/2020 18:47

Sorry, I meant discount codes, not vouchers!

TheGriffle · 10/11/2020 18:49

Thank you for the Typo link! Just bought nursery key worker and primary teachers gifts and a couple of boys for me. Some lovely stuff.

TheGriffle · 10/11/2020 19:07

Bits! A couple of bits, not boys!

NewYearsEveWedding · 10/11/2020 19:19

@CatelynStark - your photo includes personal details.

NewYearsEveWedding · 10/11/2020 19:20

@CatelynStark - Amazon photo, sorry, should have said.

Oooops! Thanks, I’ve reported my post.

Vebrithien · 10/11/2020 19:25

Thank you for the flour ideas, and the bamboo knitting needles.

My Co-op has McVities Christmas Pudding flavour chocolate digestives for £1 (taste AMAZING).

ASDA also have 8 packs of reindeer crumpets for £1, which can be frozen

Jon Thorner are a butcher/pie maker based in Somerset (Shepton Mallet) and do the most amazing meat and pies/sausages/desserts for Christmas. They will deliver for free on about a 30 mile radius, and through DHL nationwide. Their game pies are worth fighting for, and the turkey last year was the best I've ever had. They have just released their Christmas brochure, and you can order online, in person or on the phone. Maybe not a bargin, but seriously nice.

Lastly, I have almost £70 of Christmas lights in my Argos trolly. Do I hold out for Black Friday (are they likely to go down?) Or, does anyone have a discount code, please.

CatelynStark · 10/11/2020 19:25

Reposting without outing myself in the photo 🙄

I’ve just had a look at Space Masks and definitely want them but although the website did say, buy 5, get one free or something, I had a search to find a cheaper alternative. These ones get good reviews on Amazon so I’ve ordered them for Xmas stockings.

IggyAce · 10/11/2020 19:29

Flash sale at Coco & Eve 20% off with code treat I highly recommend their hair mask.

HoHoHolyMackerel · 10/11/2020 19:31

I've been in this thread forever (name changed) and I still can't bloody decide on an oodie. It's for me too 😂 I've read every comment on the fake versus real and still am none the wiser what to get. The price variation is crazy.

Bezzi · 10/11/2020 19:47

What is a space mask? The sheep in me is telling me I need one, but j in don't even know what they are!

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 10/11/2020 19:53

Need to stop buying myself treats!

ThePurpleGirl · 10/11/2020 19:53

For anyone who missed the Lego Mario starter set when it was on offer at Asda and John Lewis, Amazon have it for £38.

I've got DH to order it to our nearest hub locker so we'll get another £5 voucher for that too (I've already used that offer) Smile

mamabluestar · 10/11/2020 20:08

impulse set

My daughter likes these body sprays and this seems like a good price for the gift set

ScoobySnacker · 10/11/2020 20:14

20% off full price items at Jack Wills with code AUTUMN20

Rosie2000 · 10/11/2020 20:21

@Cheesybiscuitsmineallmine I had a few things in my M&S basket (around 10 days?) and they emailed a 10% off code today. I was amazed - times must be hard Shock

Puffalicious · 10/11/2020 20:23

To PP who gave the Typo tip- I'm now 18 items in my basket!! Thanks!!

SewVeryLazy · 10/11/2020 20:23

Is there a Disney store code about anywhere? One of the playsets is back and I want to snap it up before it goes again but feel compelled to find a bargain!

MummaPI · 10/11/2020 20:25

Anyone on threads from years ago, remember the M and S eggnog cream? Has anyone seen them this year? I love them!

TheGirlWhoLived · 10/11/2020 20:33

@MummaPI was that the same year where everyone went mental for someone wanting a cow biscuit tin that moo’d or something similar? I’ve not seen the eggnog at all in my m and a forays recently sorry to say!

NoWordForFluffy · 10/11/2020 20:35

@MummaPI, they seem to have slimmed the selection down (and increased the price). I think it's been a couple of years since the bargain, full, range.

uniqlo · 10/11/2020 20:41

This seems like a good deal with the free gift if you read Red. The gifts could be used as stocking fillers? magazine sub
Unfortunately doesn't seem like you can get TCB on this particular deal as if you click through from there the price is higher.

MummaPI · 10/11/2020 20:41

I have to admit I bought one last year for full price, worth it in my eyes!Wink
