Argghhhh, I’m so sorry, I hope I haven’t lost you all! I was keeping a beady eye then got distracted trying to work out how to forward plan a Zoom call for work and invite someone, which should only take a few minutes but I’m incompetent and it took me far too long Blush .

@CarrotVan I hope it was the former!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks
@bookish83 If you search for something included in the deal it says it on the item. Eg when I search for Sally Hansen Nail Polish www.boots.com/sally-hansen/sally-hansen-nail-treatment
Hope that helps! Smile
Thank you! I didn't think to do that Blush

Really pleased just ordered thanks!

EvilHerbivore · 10/11/2020 15:58

Does anyone else have a child they could buy endlessly for? Just looking at the new JK Rowling book mentioned above and I think DS1 would love it but I've got a pile of stuff for him already and then I'd have to find something for DS2 to balance it out who's much harder to buy for....

Anydreamwilldo12 · 10/11/2020 16:04

bullet journal stencil bookmark / ruler for £3.83

A lot of teens (and adults!) seem to be into bullet journaling and this is a bookmark / ruler that has stencils for all of the different fancy bullets and underlining you can do. Thought it could be a cute stocking filler or a nice gift with a notebook and some pens maybe.

Link fail! Hopefully this works link

TheCrow · 10/11/2020 16:42

@evilherbivore yep, my daughter this year. She's had an obsession with cats for a couple of years, last year I couldn't find anything cat related anywhere as it was all unicorns and mermaids, this year there's lovely cat things everywhere! Trying not to buy her everything I see just because it has cats on 😳

Redwinestillfine · 10/11/2020 16:47

@EvilHerbivore - yes! DD is almost sorted but struggling with gifts for DS this year. Christmas lists won't narrow it down because they both ask for anything and everything (they know they only get 1 or 2 things from the list) and I want the gifts to be special....

Puffalicious · 10/11/2020 16:55

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl thanks for the Buckley’s link.

Jacopone · 10/11/2020 17:37

@EwDavid, I love marmalade too. My favourite is not orange, but a mandarin marmalade. M&S has it but they’ve changed the recipe (and the jar design) and it’s not as good as before. Harvey Nichols used to have a decent one too. But my best memory of an excellent marmalade is one I bought at a random charity stall 8 years ago, home made by ancient looking but very lively and charming ladies raising funds for a hospital.
Nothing can beat the home made stuff.

Smileatthesmallthings · 10/11/2020 17:45

Does anyone know if Avon ever do discounts? I really like the matching penguin PJs!

Scout2016 · 10/11/2020 17:53

Also on the lookout for Space Mask bargains. I'd never even heard of them until these threads!

uniqlo · 10/11/2020 18:01

Bit of an odd one but does anyone have one of these and can recommend? eye massager

NeedMoreTea · 10/11/2020 18:19

@Junobug apologies if already posted but I've just started reading the new thread so I'm massively behind. I think this is the gin glass you were asking about on Sunday.

I have just bought the most beautiful book and it is reduced on Amazon to £14.99. I have bought two more as gifts as it arrived today and is enormous and so beautifully illustrated so definitely worth the price.

@sunshinerobots thank you for the beautiful book recommendation! I've just bought it and also the slightly less reduced one about trees.
