Argghhhh, I’m so sorry, I hope I haven’t lost you all! I was keeping a beady eye then got distracted trying to work out how to forward plan a Zoom call for work and invite someone, which should only take a few minutes but I’m incompetent and it took me far too long Blush .

@CarrotVan I hope it was the former!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Thanks @deeplybaffled

I can't find it so if anyone happens to remember that would be fab. Otherwise will have a proper look again tomorrow!

scrappydappydoo · 09/11/2020 22:29

ducky what about decathalon

thegirlwithkaleidoscopeeyes · 09/11/2020 22:30

@beadyboo we have a hammock and stand from IKEA. We got it at the start of summer 2019 and it’s still like new. We do put it away over winter - the frame unscrews easily so isn’t especially bulky.

Osquito · 09/11/2020 22:33

@Tigger83
This set was recommended in the independent’s Best Buys. It’s £5 over budget but hopefully someone knows a discount code:

jocktamsonsbairn · 09/11/2020 22:36

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl

Snapfish are offering 30% off with no minimum spend, 50% off orders over £35 - code EARLY1120 is valid until 15/11.

If anyone has any Scottish whisky recommendations for a whisky-loving Scottish friend, I'd be really interested to hear about them!

The Islay and Jura whiskies are quite peaty so only get them if you know they like that!! Some love it, others don't! My dads favourite (loves good whisky) is Highland Park (Orkney) and I'm glad this is anonymous as my family are originally from a previously mentioned west coast island...

I get my toweling robes from vertbaudet. Around twenty pounds but if you are a first time user there’s always a discount code flying around. Great quality too although shipping takes a while.

Question regarding the NEOM candles on QVC.

There are 2 sets to choose from? Which sets did people choose?! What helped you decide and what do they smell like?! Thank you all 😘

KimchiLaLa · 09/11/2020 22:54

Does anyone have an M&S code?

DillieDoily · 09/11/2020 22:56

Thanks for the Minecraft annual - my DS will be thrilled

Has anyone bought a fake oodie from groupon and can vouch for the quality (or lack thereof)?

Duckyneedsaclean · 09/11/2020 22:57

Thank you @Puffalicious @scrappydappydoo and @HulahoopsBBQbeef I'll take a look at those!

Best thread ever 🤶

DillieDoily · 09/11/2020 22:57

Sorry Groupon Hooded Blanket

Lelly78 · 09/11/2020 22:59

Agggggh so annoyed with myself, my son's size has gone out of stock in Matalan. Do they ever re stock? Or does anyone have some spare 8/9 year old greatest snowman pyjamas by any tiny chance? Confused

DillieDoily · 09/11/2020 23:00

Also I'd be grateful if someone could link to the Neom deal as the only Neom candles I can see on QVC are £80- but I'm probably just being blind!

KimchiLaLa · 09/11/2020 23:05

@princessbear80

Does anyone know how often ASOS do 20% off? I need to get DH a pair of jeans. I could use yet another email address for their new user offer of 15% but they’re expensive jeans so hoping for more of a discount.
All the time! They seem to do it weekly right now
4Minions2CallMyOwn · 09/11/2020 23:06

Boots: FREE Beauty Box worth £40 when spending £20 on selected cosmetics

I was spending £20 anyway on nail polish and make up. Also free delivery as I spent over £30. Going to give the box to DD for Xmas as think she will like it Smile

thaegumathteth · 09/11/2020 23:08

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl what's your budget? Do you know the names of any whisky he's liked before?

FoolShapeHeart · 09/11/2020 23:08

Thank you all for the Christmas tree train set suggestions, unfortunately as our tree is only little, they'll all be too big 😕 It'd never occurred to me to just use actual train track 🙈 so I'll open the bargainous Brio farm set to borrow some (stashed for post-Christmas birthday) & look for a (slow & quiet!) battery operated train instead 😁

Thumbellini · 09/11/2020 23:25

@dancemom try House of Fraser, they have 20% off at the min and it works on GHD. I got some for my sister off ASOS as well.

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 09/11/2020 23:29

Budget around £25 @thaegumathteth - unfortunately I don't know which whiskies he definitely likes, but know he'd want it to be Scottish Grin

@Lelly78 Matalan do re-stock, you can enter your email address to be notified about it. I'm waiting on some of their Christmas pyjamas now but am kicking myself for only buying one Christmas countdown activity calendar with my last order; I thought I'd ordered two but apparently not and now they're not even on the website 🤦‍♀️

I've just had a look and it looks like the deal has ended unfortunately, or they've ran out of stock after their popularity on this thread!
TidyOmlette · 10/11/2020 01:03

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl Glenmorangie is a great whiskey and in your price range

Tommyegansghoul · 10/11/2020 01:04

lovemusic is the emp code still available please? I'd love it x

Chocolateteabag · 10/11/2020 05:02

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl - I would go smaller bottle, higher end for whiskey with £25
lagavulin for £20 at the Whisky Exchange - is a very popular choice with the whisky drinkers in my family

IggyAce · 10/11/2020 05:27

Amazon have the Sylvannia family Country Tree School for £24.99
