Argghhhh, I’m so sorry, I hope I haven’t lost you all! I was keeping a beady eye then got distracted trying to work out how to forward plan a Zoom call for work and invite someone, which should only take a few minutes but I’m incompetent and it took me far too long Blush .

@CarrotVan I hope it was the former!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Half price Clinique set £35 here at Boots Networks--Skimlinks--78888&utmsource=affiliates&utmmedium=Sub+Networks&utmcampaign=Skimlinks-78888&awc=20411604945458_3ea2eba007d5556884d516cb53db1128

Those that got the Neom candles, were they packaged ok? Mine were really bashed and will have to go back as I wanted to give them as gifts. Looked like I'd picked them up in a charity shop

My neom candles arrived today and are gorgeous! Came in nice boxes explaining about the scent and mood, eg the de stress or rejection candles, and look/smell fab! I am trying to talk myself out of buying another set for myself but splurges on a l'occitane advent calendar for me last night so better not! 😂
@Spiderbee I recommend Gear4music.com keyboards...around £30 but good size and they have excellent customer service. They also well the key stickers for beginners.
Thank you, I'll take a look

I think last year Anthropologie did a £20 off your order deal, does anyone know if they’re doing anything similar this year?

MsMiaWallace · 09/11/2020 19:50

Caved & ordered the hotel chocolat bundle from QVC. It looks epic. Sites a bit glitchy so wondering if loadsa people ordering?

BalaamsAss · 09/11/2020 20:01

Bargain hunters, I need your hive mind. I need 2 personalised gifts for 10/11 year old girls. I’m not sure what to get - clothes, accessories, something else????

The personalisation is only 3 words so something very simple, no photo or anything like that. I have searched for personalised gifts online and most of them are things you add photos to. I’m a bit stuck.

Budget is about £10 per gift. £15 absolute max.

Any suggestions?

BalaamsAss · 09/11/2020 20:02

I should say that I like the idea of a wee metal badge, or a keyring or something, but I’m struggling to find somewhere to buy such things in individual units and not in a big quantity.

Bert2020 · 09/11/2020 20:04

@WhereTheresAHill you have your personal details on one of the photos there.

PuppyLover2020 · 09/11/2020 20:04

@aw93

If anyone wants a 20% off Victoria's Secret code let me know, I have a few.
If you have one that would be fab!

Could you do photo keyrings with personalisation on one side and a picture on the other?
Gurufloof · 09/11/2020 20:13

Again cheers @WhereTheresAHill. Haven't made bread in years so am clueless. Have reported your post though as it's got personal info on it.

WhereTheresAHill · 09/11/2020 20:16

Oops thanks @Bert2020 and @Gurufloof Smile

Dreamingofwalden · 09/11/2020 20:17
@Gurufloof Doves Farm do a mixed box of flours, also nice ideas would be a good lame (for slashing the bread), banneton (for proving) or bag to store the finished bread in
@Gurufloof and @WhereTheresAHill
I concur if you’re not bothered about it being overly bargainous the Dove’s Farm box is lovely. I also really like Marriage’s Flour - they’re local to me - but I’ve a had a look online and they seem to be out of stock again. 😕

dancemom · 09/11/2020 20:19

Has anyone seen any offers on GHDs? Might get lucky on Black Friday I suppose ...

aw93 · 09/11/2020 20:19

@PuppyLover2020 I've sent you a PM x

Justonedayatatime11 · 09/11/2020 20:20

MsMiaWallace did you get a confirmation email? QVC have taken payment but I've not received an email yet...

riotlady · 09/11/2020 20:22

Does anyone know where I can get a few little beauty bits like cheap nail varnish for stocking fillers without paying loads for delivery? Boots do free delivery over £30 but don’t need to spend that much and I’m avoiding the shops!

TheLastStarfighter · 09/11/2020 20:23

40% off Landsend and free shipping ends tonight. Code 2V3S.

gorgeous personalised stockings

BalaamsAss · 09/11/2020 20:23

Oh, I’ve had another thought. I was thinking about personalised signs for their bedroom walls. They are over budget sadly, but I like the idea of a light box which I could then pre-set with the message I want. Any suggestions for good light boxes at under £15?

InDreamland · 09/11/2020 20:34

@MsMiaWallace awesome! I'm very likely to buy it too. Just trying to justify it.........very reduced income this year, SMP just finished this month so now on nil pay until March!

@Justonedayatatime11 I've found their confirmation emails have been much slower at coming through than usual the past couple of weeks for me.

TheLastStarfighter · 09/11/2020 20:37

@riotlady how about ordering one of the beauty advent calendars and using the contents? There are a few on offer, and it would probably be cheaper than buying the bits separately.

Look at Elf cosmetics. Sometimes they have really good reductions in nail polish, lip gloss and other make up.

Superdrug is also cheap and do click and collect.

XiCi · 09/11/2020 20:38

Have you looked on Amazon riotlady?
I get quite a few bits like that from there with free delivery. I do have Prime though.

Puffalicious · 09/11/2020 20:41

Aldi yesterday. Their PJs wash brilliantly, are organic cotton and are a fiver! They wash as well as John Lewis, Mark's and better than White Company, I know as DS3 got all of these brands at the same time last year.

Also great bits for stockings - ski hats and gloves £3 and socks £2 (brilliant for extras in the charity presents my work organises) and their recyclable wrapping paper is good quality and 2 lovely patterns.

Thank you to pp's who mentioned the Acorn Woods books being £3 on Amazon. I was checking if it was still that price today (it is) for DN and noticed some good search and find books for £3.50 not sure if they've been mentioned before but says they're Hardcover so probably look worth a bit more!
