With this lockdown stuff I can think of no better distraction than Christmas! Online present hunting will he even more important right now too.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

They've had a total gin fail, haven't they?! I got a £10 gift card, as I played the 'Now I have no birthday present to myself!' card. 😁

Though I also have no gin (yet, I have plans afoot to get gin!).

Bicnod · 07/11/2020 10:05

Free delivery this weekend at Louis Potts - lots of reduced Spode Christmas stuff and other lovely things www.louispotts.com/

@waitforitwaitforit

I read on here that Victoria's Secret body sprays are a teen must have? Is this correct, teen girl experts? And if so what variety? I'm trying to shop for a teen girl that I don't know, and aiming to get a mix of 'nice' things and nice but cheap fillers, so any suggestions will be very gratefully received. Smile
My girls love VS sprays, all of them! And the ones from Hollister.

I then add dry shampoo, Burt bees lip seals, liz Earle face wash with muslin, Superdrug face wipes and fake tan remover wipes.

Have a look at vitamasques.com/ anything from there especially charcoal products are well received.

Food wise, American sweets from B&M etc, marshmallow fluff and hot chocolate are well received

Hope that helps

Hmm, having ignored all the Turtle doves chat in previous thread, I’ve decided that they would be perfect for my sister (and me 😁). Does anyone know if they’re likely to have the lucky dip deal (or other deals on the wrist warmers) on again before Christmas?

weebarra · 07/11/2020 10:27

Tatty Devine have an online sample sale today, lots of lovely stuff.
Unfortunately I've lost my debit card and waiting for a replacement so I can't buy anything Sad

chocolatepudandchocolatesauce · 07/11/2020 10:31

M&S live chat just told me DHL are running 24-48 hours behind and will resume deliveries on Monday, so I will wait and see. No offer of a voucher for me though!!!

Brashopper · 07/11/2020 10:33

The Luna Eau de Toilette 100ml bottles which were missing from my Penhaligon’s order have just been delivered.

They are in the original sealed boxes and then wrapped together in Penhaligon’s tissue paper.

There was no email to say they were on their way and no delivery note in the parcel.

Inastatus · 07/11/2020 10:33

@waitforitwaitforit - yes my teen DD loves all the VS body sprays. Superdrug is doing 2 for £22. I’ve also bought so far for her stocking some Eos lip balm, an Aussie miracle hair mask and cap and a little elephant ring holder.

mummyof2boys30 · 07/11/2020 10:39

Xbox s on amazon now for preorder

Chocolatepumpkin · 07/11/2020 10:42

The bracelet i ordered dd from liberty charms came today and I'm really impressed for £17! She wanted one like my pandora, but she's 6 and i think she will love this anyway! 😊 It also came with a little pouch and flatpack box. (i do not work for them 😂)

amazing how all the M&S responses are different. I have just got off Live Chat - they are going to resend the Clementine when back in stock, nothing about DHL running behind or voucher offers though 🤔

Theonlyoneiknow · 07/11/2020 10:50

Hi Peeps, just wondering if anyone had a spare Schuh code they wouldn't be using? Would be most grateful. 😊

If anyone has expired Lakeland vouchers call their customer service and they will honour over the phone

Muddlewitch · 07/11/2020 10:52

Victoria's Secret Love Spell Spray is £10.95 at Amazon but if you set it up on subscribe and save there is 15% off the first one when you check the box, making it £9.31 and arriving end of November. You can cancel the subscription after the first order.

OrigamiPenguinArmy · 07/11/2020 10:59

Someone was asking about fake oodies a few pages back. I ordered the one pictured for my almost 13yr old DD. The fabric quality is okay, it’s two layers, the outer one quite soft “fur” and the inner one is almost cotton wool texture, fluffy but not especially fuzzy if you get me. It’s fairly big, I held it up against me, I’m size 16, and it would be over sized on me but not huge, it’ll be huge on DD. The manufacturing quality is middling, it has quite prominent seams, including one down the middle of the inside of the hood which could be annoying, but nothing is loose or incorrectly sewn as far as I can see. I paid £22 for it, they’ve clearly gone up since then though.

From an earlier recommendation I've fallen in love with some of the jewellery pieces at Lily Belle. They are beautiful but over budget somewhat. I've signed up to their mailing list in the hope of a discount! Has anyone seen any offers for them? Would really appreciate it! 🤞🤞

weebarra · 07/11/2020 11:24

Lakeland codes!

CarrotVan · 07/11/2020 11:36

M&S just told me that DHL aren’t sending accurate tracking and my missing order will be here by 5pm today.

DHL told me it hadn’t made it to my local hub

The clock is ticking. Who will be right? Will there be gin at tea time or tears before bedtime? Tune in later for the next thrilling instalmentment

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 07/11/2020 11:45

Ds3 aged 7 has asked for a Segway. Ds4 aged 4 would like a skateboard. Any recommendations at all please.

Also I don't suppose anyone has a Hush discount code. I've seen some comfy workwear I'd like for in the freezing cold office Smile

VividImagination · 07/11/2020 11:53

Carbrini bags reduced at Argos

Just got ds3 a rucksack and gym bag for £8.40.

AllNewThings · 07/11/2020 12:18

Where's the best place to buy Star Wars Lego just now? I've been holding off and holding off but DS's birthday is on 19th Nov, so I'm just going to have to get on with it.

NoWordForFluffy · 07/11/2020 12:27

Thank you so much to @Fuckingfuckssake for letting me liberate one of her gin hampers! I bloody love these threads! ❤️❤️

CharlieWeasley · 07/11/2020 12:33

CarrotVan for what it's worth I had a DHL delivery yesterday (not gin though). Tracking info said it'd be delivered between 5 and 6. I got home at 4 and it had been left by the door. So I think they are struggling with tracking info.

MaudHatter · 07/11/2020 12:39

🤞for your gin for tea Carrot

Can anyone recall the graphics tablet mentioned in previous threads ? A friend was talking about one for her son and I told her I read about a really good one somewhere???I’m keeping my mumsnet addiction a secret 😂

MaudHatter · 07/11/2020 12:40

Thanks to poster who linked the contigo cup . I bought it for my husband for Christmas and it looks so good I want it .
