With this lockdown stuff I can think of no better distraction than Christmas! Online present hunting will he even more important right now too.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Well John Lewis are showing blatant favouritism here aren't they. Mind you, £10 off £120 is probably more than I deserve given I've only ever spent gift vouchers...

Emma10702 · 06/11/2020 18:21

@NoWordForFluffy my dhl order says it’s been collected but it’s delayed. Is that a similar message to the one you got? thought it was arriving just Royal Mail actually but that’s something else I ordered.

Lellyo · 06/11/2020 18:24

This is is the message i still have?.

Elpheba · 06/11/2020 18:26

I know it’s been mentioned already but the Vodafone deal today is amazing. I nabbed a code off my brother. The magnet photo strips can be individually personalised and should be £12 plus delivery. So I have done three separate strips to add as a little extra gift to some family- not bad for £1.33 each!

NoWordForFluffy · 06/11/2020 18:29

Same here. Last updated on 4 Nov in the timings at the bottom. But changed from 'we haven't got' to 'delayed' the other day.

I've been refunded for mine now, and I won't be re-ordering at £40.00!

TheDrsDocMartens · 06/11/2020 18:36

Dd3 and I are eating last weeks popcorn. We approve.

Theonlyoneiknow · 06/11/2020 18:42

coffeetofunction I would love.the code if still available please Flowers

Emma10702 · 06/11/2020 18:44

I’ll wait until mid next week I think & see what happens. As a previous poster said I think courier companies are pretty busy at the moment.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/11/2020 18:53

The problem is that if it goes out of stock again, they can't send a replacement. If it had been in stock when I called, they'd have re-sent it (even more weirdly, it came back into stock after I was refunded!).

I'm rather invested in all this, as I'm naturally suspicious and think something odd is afoot. Xmas Grin

withadivinebeatlesbaseline · 06/11/2020 18:57

Orchard games in Aldi or Lidl some items. I’ve also got multipacks from Eduzone. Or Facebook marketplace- I have got a few unused locally.

Tiggles · 06/11/2020 18:57

VMAGGYS53X63

Emma10702 · 06/11/2020 19:16

@NoWordForFluffy I’ve just spoken to them on live chat and they are sending a replacement & refunding my delivery. If I end up with 2 I’ll send one your way.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/11/2020 19:17

That's good news, @Emma10702! 😁

(And thank you! Flowers )

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 06/11/2020 19:26

I’ve got £20 off John Lewis if I spend £120! I’m obviously a favourite! NOV20OFF120

Hopefully my popcorn will turn up tomorrow. I’ve bought the sprout ketchup because I’m a sucker. It’s odd but not in a bad way. Tastes a bit like pickled onion monster munch IMO- not very sprouty

mum2jakie · 06/11/2020 19:29

@Theonlyoneiknow

Has anyone seen the hardback illustrated Harry Potter books at a reasonable price anywhere? I can remember last year I got the first 3 for a bargainous £30 (£10 each) and can't find them for that price anywhere! Many Thanks
This is gorgeous illustrated Harry Potter and much cheaper now at £16 than what I paid as a pre-order price.

My M&S gin was supposed to arrive on 3 Nov, delivery was delayed until today but I then received an email saying there was an issue and to call if I still wanted it. Gave them a ring, said it had been damaged in transit and are sending another, plus refunding my delivery cost. What a palaver!

MrsJamTart · 06/11/2020 19:32

I’d love a Vodafone code if anyone isn’t using theres I’d be very grateful

Emma10702 · 06/11/2020 19:33

@unkindnessofravens there’s definitely something odd going on with the gins. Hopefully ours will arrive soon.

WhereTheresAHill · 06/11/2020 19:34

Has anyone been able to get one of the John Lewis Codes to work on Lego? They don’t work for me but I also haven’t been sent a code myself so maybe they know that?!

Serg · 06/11/2020 19:36

I just tried to use MY10OFF70 on 2 hampers, didn’t work, asked my to enter valid code.

Thanks though :)

CovidClara · 06/11/2020 19:38

They were codes forJL members? You can sign up for free.

Mine was for £5 off 70 and I used it earlier with no issues.

MsMiaWallace · 06/11/2020 19:38

Has anyone bought a Velvetiser as a treat?
Honestly do you recommend?
DH says I can have one for Christmas but I'm not sure whether to buy a similar milk frother for a cheaper price.
