I’m wondering if the Hotel Chocolat QVC deal would be good to hand in to Nursery and the staff can share them out amongst themselves?

We're not allowed to share unwrapped food/snacks in our school and nursery 😞 although normally I would say this would be an amazing gift!

Did anything ever come of all that?! As in consequences for them?

Thinking about putting the dualit or lavazza milk frother on my Christmas list, are they usually in black Friday deals? Or heard that there was a good Aldi alternative a few years ago, does it come out every year or was it a one time wonder?

@NoWordForFluffy I got carried away and ordered more of the (rhubarb) gin hampers than I actually needed, I'm happy to send one? Although the postage costs might outweigh the saving. Mine are coming Friday, I'm assuming they're pretty heavy?

Not very Christmassy but these cereal bars are a good price on Amazon.

@Notlongnow1 I've no idea! It was all so strange. I just know people were convinced it was a genuine company at first but when I delved further I found he'd checked into his sisters pub in Swansea! Ryan I think his name was.

They then dropped the money back into everyone's accounts and disappeared. It must've cost them in chargeback fees though

Fluffy, you might get it yet. Similar happened to me with another company recently (but with Royal Mail). Tracking link was emailed to me on ‘dispatch’ but RM didn’t receive it until after the date it should have arrived. It happened to a number of people, I think they were stuck in the warehouse somewhere waiting to be picked up. I think it came around a week late in the end.

Apologies if this was covered in a previous thread - I've missed a couple. I ordered some t-shirts from Rocket and Rose in their Fiver Friday deal over a month ago and they stil haven't arrived. I emailed to enquire about the order and have had nothing back. I know they said there was a delay but this seems a very long time with no correspondence. Has anyone received their order from them? I have used them in the past and they have been lovely, so this is unlike them.

Superdrug’s Black Friday sale has started.

There are some great bargains, especially in Advent calendars, some of which have bad reviews. The Minnie Mouse calendar is reduced from £20 to £5.

Some things are “Order and Collect” from store only. Check if your local store has each one in stock before you add them to your basket. If you don’t your order will be rejected at checkout because they are unavailable at the store you’ve selected.

I bought a couple of hairbrushes and Makeup bags reduced from £6.99 to £1.99 each.

The site is slow even at 2am....

Ha! I'd be asleep at my desk by 9.30 if I had a drink (and I've a team meeting at 11, so they might notice my absence!).

As for cake...DH is making it for me. Me now working from home means he can't do it subtly without me noticing, so I'm not sure it's ready yet. It will be it'd better be! by tonight (I think he'll make it at his mum's!).

There will be booze and cake tonight, however! 😁
