NEW INFO PLZ READ*
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Thanks for the velvetiser tip. I have been looking for one for dh Xmas present. I used code MNEW10 to get tenner off.

myhobbyisouting · 14/10/2020 14:40

Buns won't add to my basket! Oh well. I don't actually need another box Grin

XFPW · 14/10/2020 14:45

@myhobbyisouting thanks for that! We moved last year so have only done 1 double up so far in our new location. Our two local stores definitely aren’t as good as the one where we used to live - we struggled to spend our full amount of vouchers last year. (DH and I also both have cards and we always have more points than we can exchange)

I’m not really bothered about anything else, but I would really like to get that Xbox game - I shall have to go and investigate the two local stores and see if they have any games on shelves.

@thelegohooverer, I bought some super cheap white t-shirts from Primark to go with fabric pens for a rainy day at the seaside activity early in the year. They were rolled up in packs of two like vests, I believe, and not much more than £3 or £4. The quality wasn't bad at all, they withstood post-holiday washes and lots of wear.

PattyPan · 14/10/2020 15:23

There were some toy deals in Tesco when I went yesterday including Lego City although I don’t have anyone to buy Lego for so didn’t look too closely.

Lovemusic33 · 14/10/2020 15:27

Has anyone seen the scooby doo mystery machine playmobil set on offer anywhere? I want to get it for —me— dd2.

deeplybaffled · 14/10/2020 15:28

Not Christmassy at all, I’m sorry, but this page has the best shopping ninjas I’ve ever seen!
Can anyone recommend a cheap baby monitor with a white noise function, please. Audio only is fine, not worried about video, but white noise is essential as DD charges about like a rhino at DS nap time on occasion!
Thank you

myhobbyisouting · 14/10/2020 15:34

Speaking of colour your own, the works have colour your own Dino/unicorn bags with 5 pens for £1

Jacopone · 14/10/2020 15:36

Not Christmassy either. 25% off Oxford University Press textbooks for students advertised by MSE. Perhaps of interest to some of you or your uni children.

@QueenMabby

Not read up to date yet so not sure if it’s been mentioned but Lego Architecture currently on a lightning deal: ]]
Gone ☹️ I’ve only just finished work and had a chance to look. So disappointed that there are only limited amounts available at the deal price
Birdladybird · 14/10/2020 15:54

@makingmiracles my Dunedin order arrived in 2 separate parcels 2 weeks apart. Really happy with them all.

22Giraffes · 14/10/2020 16:00

I've decided dd needs a waffle maker for Xmas, found a good one but now I'm looking for a pack of flavoured syrups/sauces to go with it. Any ideas? I've seen single bottles on Amazon for £7ish but I was hoping for a more bargainous pack Blush

Redwinestillfine · 14/10/2020 16:18

{https://www.simplyarganoilshop.com/index.asp?function=cart&ecd=516&productid=331&prevmode=add} Simply argan ( they do gorgeous argan oil based products and supporting a small business) are giving away a free foot oil with every order, plus a free rejuvenation oil worth £29 with every order over £25 (plus you get 10% off for signing up to their emails). The foot oil is fab as is the night time oil they do.

zeerecords · 14/10/2020 16:35

I'm definitely getting a Velvetiser because of this thread! But can't decide whether to buy it off the QVC deal or wait and risk it to see if a better deal comes up?

You can pipe white noise 'loop' through an alexa and echo dot if you have one?

Way better than an app. Just suggesting as an option! X

The Sweet Freedom syrups are lovely and a bit healthier!

Otherwise good old nutella and maple syrup is probably tastier than some of the syrups Cake

Mumto3thatsme · 14/10/2020 16:43

Hamleys have up to 20% off Sylvanian Families plus use code myautumn10 for an additional 10% off and free delivery over £25

TheCrow · 14/10/2020 16:47

@22giraffes home bargains had the skinny syrups glittery mermaid and unicorn flavours in for £1.99 each before, not sure if they still do but if you're popping in anyway might be worth checking. B&M and Home Bargains sometimes have nice syrup sets before Christmas

22Giraffes · 14/10/2020 16:55

@bookish83 thank you they look perfect! The bottles are really cute and even better that they are a healthier option. The price is very reasonable too Smile

@thecrow thanks for the tip, unfortunately I don't have a home bargains or b&m near me, I'm so jealous of those that do!

I'm looking for a waffle maker, where did you find a good one from as not quite sure where to look.

No worries! The caramel and fruit syrup are the best ones. Just like maple syrup.

The choc shot ones are a bit too slimming world for my liking... i'd get nutella over those any day
