Lego architecture Statue of Liberty also on Amazon lightening deals

GazingAndGrazing · 14/10/2020 12:41
@4Minions2CallMyOwn if you go via the official Man Utd site they are offering 15% off most items at the moment? Or 10% off anyway if you sign up to their newsletters. Still not bargainous but maybe a bit less painful!

Body Shop have a 48 hour flash sale here

Thank you so much to everyone for the teenage boy present suggestions! If anyone could add anything for an animal-loving 10 year old boy I would be most grateful, as that present requirement has been sprung on me!!
Maybe an adoption pack for the 10 year old. We “adopted” a snow leopard and received regular updates, magazines and a cuddly toy

buckeejit · 14/10/2020 12:45

@GazingAndGrazing I have the anker soundcore ones & they are fab

bluesky · 14/10/2020 12:50

ShellyLou1234 · 14/10/2020 12:53

@foilflower thanks for the response. Think I’ll do the same given the price paid.

Bananasplease · 14/10/2020 12:55

Crackery don’t worry not your fault. I’ve actually just had confirmation from them that they are cancelling my order so we’ll see if they do refund me. I’m sure that now of course they will turn out to be completely legit and those who’ve ordered them will have bagged a great bargain and I will have missed out but there we go.

CarrotVan · 14/10/2020 13:07

@thelegohooverer I've bought loads of white Fruit of the Loom t-shirts on Amazon for tie-dye or just the plain PE white t-shirts from supermarkets. Depends if you want something with any shape!

@makingmiracles I ordered late last week and my whole order just arrived. I got 4 of the tartan viscose scarves that were about £3.50 each)

Mumto3thatsme · 14/10/2020 13:13

@GazingAndGrazing wondering about the brackets...

MsMiaWallace · 14/10/2020 13:13

DS has mentioned that he's like a Nintendo Switch now.
He was all Xbox before.....
Do you think it's best to wait until Black Friday for deals or order one now whilst they're in stock?
Very have a deal on some where you can take 10% off.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 14/10/2020 13:14

@makingmiracles

Anyone else order scarves from Dunedin?

I ordered last week, thurs or fri and so far just one out of 6 arrived today, bit worried the others wont turn up if they haven’t sent them, being sale items you would think they’d only sell as many as they have in stock, will be very annoying if only a couple arrive as that was 6 people sorted with a small side gift.Sad

I received all of my order yesterday, 7 items in total. Ordered Friday, I think
myhobbyisouting · 14/10/2020 13:18

@ShellyLou1234 they stink of vinegar. I've complained as they're also completely random sizing. Waiting for a response after they asked for a photo

NoWordForFluffy · 14/10/2020 13:27

Nectar Double Up is confirmed!

Thread 12 - the one where it’s amazon prime day on 13th and 14th October
myhobbyisouting · 14/10/2020 13:30

Oh yesss double up Grin

caffeineanddryshampoo · 14/10/2020 13:33

@anonymouse86

I have just been to Sainsbury's. They didn't have any of the smaller stocking filler type things reduced like puzzles, the chad valley pre school toys for less around £10. They only had the bigger toys reduced, some big marvel characters, Barrie camper van, ponies and a castle, a hot wheels rollercoaster race track type thing, a baby annabelle doll for £30, a vetch toddler toy, a box of Lego. They had some toot toot things reduced and some random bits for about 30% off but nothing like the usual amazing sale they do sadly. But still worth a look if there's something big on the list.
I want a Barrie camper van Grin
Lockdownlumpy · 14/10/2020 13:34

I've just been looking at the amazon deals for today. Most of them just seem to be complete tat!
The few things that aren't they've clearly hiked the price beforehand to make the discount look bigger.

I actually try to buy skyjo yesterday on the 8. 95 deal, but every time I added it to my basket and clicked through my basket emptied itself. I went around in circles for half an hour on two devices before giving up and live chatting amazon.
They sorted it out but then thr deal finished and its back up over £17 Angry Angry
And the chat guy wouldn't do anything about it. Won't be paying that for a card game so will wait for next year Grin

makingmiracles · 14/10/2020 13:36

Oh its a bit concerning that everyone else has had theirs. I have emailed them to chase it up, I’d have been less worried if they’d not sent till they were ready to dispatch all 6 but the fact they’ve only sent 1 out of 6 is disconcerting.

Fridgeandkitchen · 14/10/2020 13:39

@luckiestgirl

Sooo tempted to get a velvetiser! Do you think it will get cheaper than this? at QVC £85 including 2 boxes of sachets.
Possibly yes. There is talk it will the TSV which is coming later this month.
GirlWithTheYellowHat · 14/10/2020 13:40

@Bearbehind or any qvc shoppers. Coincidentally, I've had a £10 referral code come thru this morning. Do I put it in the promo code box? It's not working but it says it can take 24 hours to work. Didn't want to wait incase it wasn't even the right box 🤣

makingmiracles · 14/10/2020 13:41

Looking forward to my Lindt bargains that are arriving today, sadly i had someone round and we ordered 3 on my account 1kg of balls for £12.99 but i checked after she’d left in order to post on here and sadly they’d gone back to £20+

Grabbed the rapunzel doll and horse for £33 and the barbie horse, pony and dolls for £25 at Sainsbury’s this morning so well on the way to having dd4 finished. There wasn’t a lot there of much interest but some Lego reduced. Very much stuff for much younger kids and the normal toy isle wasn’t reduced at all whereas it has been in previous years.

Fridgeandkitchen · 14/10/2020 13:41

Luckiestgirl ignore! This is the TSV!

XFPW · 14/10/2020 13:43

@NoWordForFluffy Brilliant! Thank you for that info on Sainsburys double up.

That’s DH’s Christmas present sorted - he always wants the new Assassin’s Creed for Xbox and I refuse to pay £40-£50 for a computer game! It is released on Nov 10th so now just to find a local store which has it in stock on the day!

ItWasTheBestOfTimes · 14/10/2020 13:53

Thanks for all the recommendations for alternatives for the barbie dreamhouse.

I managed to get the 2020 model barbie dreamhouse for £176 from amazon using a combination of the £10 top up credit and the 15% off code for creating and buying from a kids wish list that I posted about yesterday, according to camel camel camel the lowest the older model has been is £160 so I’m happy with that.

MumbleJunction · 14/10/2020 13:55

@Lockdownlumpy totally agree with you, so much kid tat on Amazon yesterday, it put me right off.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 14/10/2020 13:56

@GirlWithTheYellowHat I put the referral code in the promotions box on QVC.

Arthien · 14/10/2020 13:59

Someone mentioned graphics tablets on Amazon yesterday - I think DH would love one but I’ve no idea where to start with it! Budget is around £70-100, but I’m not sure how much better that would be, compared to a cheap one. Any suggestions or help would be great!
