Thank you @coffeetofunction I also got the robes for my lot. They look ideal.

JoHo123 · 14/10/2020 08:22

@XFPW I have the Babyliss Curl Secret and until last week my hair was halfway down my back long and I really rate it. You can get them on eBay within budget if you don’t mind second hand. My hair is fairly fine and not prone to holding a curl but it does if I use these.

Cinderellashoes · 14/10/2020 08:27

The sainsburys toy sale starts today

Has anyone been and got anything good?

Restlessinthenorth · 14/10/2020 08:29

I've just been to Sainsbury's. I seriously wouldn't bother. A small stack of items clearly specially designed to go in the sale, and not even worth the sale price.

Cinderellashoes · 14/10/2020 08:35

Oh really? What sort of things did they have? In previous years I got lots of discounted play doh, Peppa pig and Thomas the tank

AndddddHerewegoagain · 14/10/2020 08:35

@nicky2512 i got my friends daughter this for her birthday and she loves it

Its alot cheaper than i paid as well!

Madonnawiththebigboobies · 14/10/2020 08:38

I posted last week that sainsburys had lots of toys half price and Lego offers . I think they have been reducing so people pick up items with their weekly shop rather than the usual mad rush . I imagine they dont have as much to reduce now iyswim.

AndddddHerewegoagain · 14/10/2020 08:38

@XFPW i have this as im useless with hair. Its amazing £9 over your budget but worth it!

Dovesandkisses · 14/10/2020 08:43

@Chocolateteabag that is perfect! Thank you so much.

HulahoopsBBQbeef · 14/10/2020 08:48

@Dovesandkisses I got a Lavazza last year around November time on offer from John Lewis for £30. I can’t remember if it was Black Friday or a special pre Christmas promotion.

lexloofah · 14/10/2020 08:51

@Dovesandkisses I second the Lidl milk frother, we have had one for 3 years and it gets used every day. Earlier this year when the seal came off the lid I contacted them to ask about a replacement seal/lid and they sent a whole new unit free of charge. Worth keeping the booklet and receipt if you get one.

ZIGGY911 · 14/10/2020 09:04

So I missed the offer for Echo Show 8 and stand for £49.99, do you think Black Friday will have a similar offer as hubby decided we need 2 now.

Restlessinthenorth · 14/10/2020 09:05

@Cinderellashoes no peppa pig. There was a Jurassic Park dinosaur, a set of superheroes, a Steffi camper van, a Barbie with a horse, and a Barbie convertible with a doll that they were trying to sell for £60. I've never seen it before but it wasn't worth that. That was about it for my store

anonymouse86 · 14/10/2020 09:11

I have just been to Sainsbury's. They didn't have any of the smaller stocking filler type things reduced like puzzles, the chad valley pre school toys for less around £10. They only had the bigger toys reduced, some big marvel characters, Barrie camper van, ponies and a castle, a hot wheels rollercoaster race track type thing, a baby annabelle doll for £30, a vetch toddler toy, a box of Lego. They had some toot toot things reduced and some random bits for about 30% off but nothing like the usual amazing sale they do sadly. But still worth a look if there's something big on the list.

Hophop26 · 14/10/2020 09:15

Got the hand creams too thanks!

I though the same about the Sainsbury’s sale, they had set it up earlier this week and was a lot of things that are packaged/made for sales

runningpink · 14/10/2020 09:16

I posted on the last thread that Sainsburys are only placing pallets at the entrance and only in the larger stores so as to avoid people crowding down aisles. So I wouldn’t be expecting much or rushing to the shops unless you were going anyway.

TheCrow · 14/10/2020 09:19

@NeedMoreTea Claire's was up to 75% off in the sale then either an extra 30 or 40% off depending which code you used. I found that not every item you put in the basket applies the extra 30/40 though for some reason

Cinderellashoes · 14/10/2020 09:21

Thanks for sainsburys info. What was the code for Claire’s please?
