Day off today 😃
Have a bit of a head , taken tabbies so am wondering what to do today . Have to clean bedrooms & bathroom so will send to now l think then we can go out 😃

I have had a productive morning, made a quiche and cleaned the kitchen a bit amongst all the boxes

DH is on a long shift today but WFH due to covid so I am decamping to my mother's for a little sewing project, it is baby related and should be finished in a day any guesses what I am making? 😂

When I used to swim in my younger years. I used to have to get up at 4.30 and be there at 5. My dad got me me up drove me there and went home and made breakfast for everyone. I loved having a cooked breakfast after a mornings training.

Dd2 went to Primark yesterday and filled up on the essential things . I need a trip for leggings, soft toothbrushes some glasses and other stuff. I am loath to go she said Cardiff was like a jungle with no one socially distancing 🙄

Now when we went to Costco it was totally different there. They were excellent 👍

Dd2 went to Cardiff for the weekend. Stayed in a hotel suite because it was so cheap . She really enjoyed it 😊.

It's ok MrsMad, I've run away from the bathroom chaos so it could be worse.

I'm not surprised Cardiff was bad. We went to Sainsbury's in Cwmbran on the weekend and that was awful, people standing right next to you etc.

Sorry, I didn't comment on your loo problem, Crazy! I hope it gets sorted ASAP. And definitely the best idea to get the landlady's contractor to do everything.

Our loo broke on 23 December the other year. Thankfully the plumbers' merchant was still open (it was a Sat afternoon), so could be fixed. We had to leave Dave to it though, as we were going out (Dunham Massey lights)!

Massive blister on my thumb today due to the burning yesterday, can't grab anything at all!

Morning (just) been up since 3 with horrendous cramping. It feels like i've been kicked. went back to bed at 7 and up again at 10. what day is is?!? Charlie kept me company lying on DH pillow and occasionally touching my nose with his paw 😻 I think he was checking I was still alive.

Mrs DH has just been to the chemist for his next months pills, he said "Lockdown, what lockdown?" the roads are busier now than normal (remember that?) and the queue was about 25 deep so he gave up.
My Mum and Dad also had ovens with the "eye-level" grill. I used to get up with Dad when I was little and he'd light the coal fire in the middle room and I'd curl up with a cuppa and his spare coat over me to keep me warm until either my Mum or Nan got up. He used to let me help him lay the fire in the morning before he lit it if I was early enough. The perfect skill for a house with a gas fire

Sorry, I've come back for a little rant.

DHs school have called him in, apparently they all need to do a clean and set up the classes for next year as the school is going to be locked up for the summer this afternoon (usually they open it for a day or so towards the end of the summer for this).

I've had to come home and deal with the plumbers who have finally worked out what's caused the problem but have dismantled my loo in the process, and not sure how long it'll take to fix.

Add to that the bloody neighbours who are still frigging drilling I keep getting distracted by daydreams of telling the neighbour where to shove his drill and my work laptop deciding to break and my peaceful feeling is long gone.

DH is going to get back ASAP but still 😩🤯😡

Rants welcome here Crazy Sorry that you have had to put up with such rubbish maybe you should repossess his drill and stick in where the sun don't shine Hope your DH gets back really quick
