Not a clue - I'll cross that stitch when I come to it! 🤣

MarshmallowManiac · 16/07/2020 14:09

The only thing about one of them in the Lockdown, who lives in the corner, who has been constantly selling stuff, and totally ignoring all SD rules Angry

NoWordForFluffy · 16/07/2020 15:04

We've sold stuff (listed ages ago) but left it in the porch for collection, with buyers posting the money through the main door.

CrazyBaubles · 16/07/2020 15:27

Neros we have the opposite here - DH believes if it's in the freezer it absolutely cannot go bad so will eat anything he finds in there 🙄

Did you buy the stocking fillers or treat yourself to something with your voucher Marshmallow?

CrazyBaubles · 16/07/2020 15:27

Puss we have some awful neighbours. Next door are just known as dickhead him or dickhead her in this house Blush
We have 3 separate builders who clog up the street with lots of cars and vans, make lots of noise and and 2 of them are awful if you try and talk to them about it.
Add to that a street monitor who likes to tell everyone off and 5 neighbours with dogs who bark and it can drive you bonkers!

Mrsmadevans · 16/07/2020 15:27

We have names for ours Boot , NDN is Dickhead, , Mr Wally the other side. Over the road is Breezy & Smock man .

CrazyBaubles · 16/07/2020 15:27

Fluffy I love doing odd bits in breaks from work (just little things - today I put the dishwasher on and hung out some washing, yesterday I treated myself to poached eggs on toast.

CrazyBaubles · 16/07/2020 15:28

I've finished work and am doing a tiny amount of cross stitch now before trying to make myself look decent and going to dm's for tea (this basically means brushing my hair and putting concealer under my eyes)

Yes Crazy bought some lovely sf for the DC, face and eye masks, notebooks, purses, card wallet, vouchers and stationery. Also spent the voucher on nice stuff for DH and me, underwear, toiletries, and clothes. Well pleased with myself Grin

Sending you all my loving Mrs

We have a windscreen note writer in our street Angry who appears to think that the kerb within 50 yards of their house belongs to them. They have put countless notes on my DD's windscreen, and drove her to tears. Might or might not have knocked on their door, and advised them as to the correct rules of the road!! Grin Grin

Mrsmadevans · 16/07/2020 17:24

Thank you @MarshmallowManiac
Have fallen down a Beatles rabbit hole now Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 16/07/2020 17:29

Ah, Marshmallow. Years ago, when DS was a baby, the dog house neighbours used to park over our drive loads. One day, we'd been out and come back in the pouring rain with a months-old baby and DD, who was about 16 months old, to them blocking our drive.

DH went over and knocked on their door to get them to move. No response. So he got the kids from the car, down the road to the house.

While he was doing that, I went over and hammered on their door until they opened it. To be greeted with 'I didn't hear you the first time.' Meaning she must have, as she mentioned it. I went FULL fishwife on her, telling shouting at her her to move it and never do it again! Not my finest moment, but she bloody deserved it, selfish cow.

Mrsmadevans · 16/07/2020 17:57

Fluffy l hope they learned their lesson , ignorant A holes

MarshmallowManiac · 16/07/2020 18:05

OMG so they're everywhere Fluffy, we're surrounded! I bet she deserved it, they always bloody do Grin Grin I marched round there like a goodun, my poor DD was so upset I could've bopped 'em one! Angry
