New thread for our 'bonus' day today.

It's the anniversary of our gran dying today; she was a brilliant lady. Very young at heart. ❤️❤️ Very knowledgeable too.

I think corona is concerning in the sense that any potential pandemic is concerning generally. And, as I said, I'm not that keen on being quarantined for a fortnight or more!

I also don't trust our government to act in our best interests over the whole thing.

Anyway, kids' party with DS today. Wooooo!

I've just checked my work sickness pay and I get four months full pay and four months half pay increasing to five months each from the end of April so I should be ok if I get isolated although I wouldn't get my mileage which is obviously bumping my wages up so will continue working for as long as I can!

I thought that I posted early but I can't find it.

We are getting some conflicting information. The RoI are practically in complete lockdown. Schools closed, no public gatherings, and pubs/restaurants closed. In the north we are going by the UK advice and nothing has officially changed. Though a lot of businesses and schools have decided for themselves to just close.

I made a few crumbles to get us through. It tasted better than it looked.

Do you know l am even looking forward to the footie starting , it's odd but l miss sport so much. I miss the company of others and l miss being able to go out and do whatever we want . I miss my normal life . When we go back to normality l think we will all be so thankful and realise how lucky we are
