Pigs in blankets. How many per person?

My DM is hosting Christmas lunch but has bought a 12 pack of pigs in blankets for 6 adults and one child. Before I look like a greedy sod and take another 12 pack with me, how many per person should be served?

I put out 4 per person (not on their plates) just to be on the safe side. The dog is more than happy to deal with any leftovers Grin

LittleGoose000 · 23/12/2018 10:28

2 at least.

dementedpixie · 23/12/2018 10:29

At least 2 or 3. How big are they? We use full sized chipolatas for ours and still have 2 or 3 each. If smaller you'd need more than that

golddustwomen · 23/12/2018 10:29

They are my favourite thing about Christmas dinner, I easily have 4 or 5, definitely take another 12!

Anythingforacatslife · 23/12/2018 10:30

At least two, and any leftovers make delicious sandwiches!

I'd take another 24 and then you have them cold in the evening too.

villainousbroodmare · 23/12/2018 10:31

Absolute minimum of three.

notacooldad · 23/12/2018 10:31

The answer for our house is loads!!!
It's DS2's favourite part of the meal.

Sforsh49 · 23/12/2018 10:31

I've got 50 between 7 and 1 child...... My DDad and DH will eat at least ten between them when they come out the oven 🤣

mumof2sarah · 23/12/2018 10:32

Take another 5 packs ha ha, pigs in blankets are one of my most favourite things on Christmas dinner 😍😍 my mum and sister done eat them so I have their share as not to waste them... obviously lol x

HopeGarden · 23/12/2018 10:32

My brother would happily eat 12 himself Grin

I’d take another pack. Any that are leftover will be tasty eaten cold later on.

Bitchfromhell · 23/12/2018 10:33

I buy a big pack of the small ones and put them out as nibbles pre dinner. Then big ones with dinner.
I bet we get through 100 of them between 15 people.

80sMum · 23/12/2018 10:33

I've allowed for 4 per adult and 2 per child.

BarryTheKestrel · 23/12/2018 10:33

We have 10 adults and 1 child and have bought 72 😂. They probably won't all be eaten at Christmas lunch but they will definitely all be eaten.

IShitChristmasGlitter · 23/12/2018 10:33

am doing 6 adults and 2 toddlers and have got 20.

Sausagefingers9 · 23/12/2018 10:33

I’m genuinely shocked at 2 pp!

We have 40 for 7 adults

ChipsAreLife · 23/12/2018 10:33

I've got 24 for three adults and two toddlers ... probably will only eat 12 but DH bloody loves them and will have them for late night snack on Xmas day!

MrsChollySawcutt · 23/12/2018 10:33

Definitely take extra, pigs in blankets are a favourite part of the meal for our family so we always cook lots as we like to make sure we have plenty left over to have with cold cuts on Boxing Day.

ipswichwitch · 23/12/2018 10:34

We have a pack of 20 for 4 of us and I’m contemplating buying more 😂
DS2 would cheerfully just eat a plate of those without anything else for his Christmas dinner

cloudtree · 23/12/2018 10:34

My dc would have a plateful given half a chance

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 23/12/2018 10:34

Definitely take along that other pack.

IShitChristmasGlitter · 23/12/2018 10:38

oh now am panicking...my DH has been sent for some more!

Zebedee88 · 23/12/2018 10:38

4!! That number instantly popped into my head Xmas Smile
