Anyone else got the twitch yet?

So I'm all done presents wise. I've spent a fortune even by my own standards - between the two kids they have consoles, £70 controllers, an iPhone, all the other bits and pieces so it's more than enough

And what do I find myself doing? Ordering several Crazy Aaron putty sets, a Switch game, a £60 cat print and a kindle fire

Anyone else?

Just resisted a twitch to get a Harry Potter programmable wand.

Well actually..... the website was irritating to use so I gave up. Does that count? :D

Bumbumtaloo I found it advertised on FB, so I don't know if it's a good site - maybe check out reviews? (I'm far too impulsive to have taken this advice, mind)

Oh god I'm so glad it's not just me!!!! I made the mistake of asking my 2.5 year old what she wanted for Christmas yesterday after already having bought everything. She said she wanted an orange squeaky rabbit. I've googled and can't find anything like that so ordered her a squeaky rabbit thing (not orange), a Ben and holly puzzle and my other daughter a jelly cat bunny even though I already have three soft toys for her. Arrrrgh. I. Can't. Stop!!!!!!

I twitched on Tuesday & ended up purchasing 2 fitness trackers, 3 books, lol doll, 3 dinosaurs, dvd boxset & here I am today still browsing amazon!

Have been buying dds birthday presents which is the beginning of January to ease the twitch too.

Oh and a roblox swat car that I paid £46 on eBay for as its out of stock which should have been £20

Thought I was done with my kids Xmas shopping, officially finished every one else, went online to look for another present for my DS bday (11 days after Xmas) instead impulses brought another Xmas pressie for my daughter and no birthday present. That’s the 2nd impulse buy now ☹️☹️

Yes I paid £20 but ordered mine when it first came out over here. Always check smyths they have stuff go in and out of stock all the time.

L.o.l #hairgoals was my last impulse buy... officially my dd now has over 9 l.o.l dolls for Xmas 🤐

I'm not so bad its dh, Ds1 we bought a pair of £165 (12) pair of trainers, however dh today bought him a pair of Gazelles at £60, its OK they were on the sale

Ds2 (9) loves raspberry pi, he got Ds the new quad core, as it was a steal at £210 however we've got a £1000 plus custom made PC...

Those who like Harry Potter, do look at the coding wand. It's so cool! You connect it to an app, build and code it, and you can flick your wand and make feather fly or pumpkins explode etc. It's the Kano wand

It's not cheap at £79.99 so it's a main ish present I suppose. I did feel a slight twitch but it's not something my DS would use. Mind you he'd love a Voldemort wand he says so I'm twitching again!

Just bought a new tablet, case and keyboard for dd. She hasn't even said she wants one. I need to stop now. That orangutan is gorgeous though....

I bought the kano wand can't wait to give it to DD . There's a couple of links on the referrals thread mine and I'm sure someone else posted as well. If you order it through one of those you will get a £10 Amazon voucher not an amazing bargain but of your ordering anyway you may as well

I twitched on a bike for my dd, then to even the pile up again twitched on the paw patroller truck for ds.
Dd is ‘testing Father Christmas’ and kept her list secret this year to ‘stop me going to town and buying it’

It’s a £60 slime kit, called poposie pooey poutin or something like that, the twitch was strong but I’ve resisted so far, I will remain strong on this one I can’t think of a bigger waste of money tbh

I m not twitching as such as I m waiting to get paid again next week but I wss all sorted with my smyths and Amazon baskets all within budget, but damn everyone on here who has mentioned Hawkins bazaar, its never been on my radar and now I have a £300 basket of must haves!!!! :-)

I have done my wrapping and I feel the Twitch even though I'll be giving DS money (his request , he doesnt really do 'things' so no point in buying just for the sake of it)

I have last years Christmas Jumper , a sweatshirt from 2 years ago and today I bought a TShirt from Sainsburys with the FToNY photo of Shane & Kirsty .

I took some expensive wrapping paper back today as couldn’t get it to stick whichever tape I used. Ended up twitching like mad and bought DD Bobbi Brown makeup brushes, and me a load of makeup (was running out, but still). Then got home still twitching and bought DD a silver necklace to layer with the other one I bought her. The shame of it, it’s like a disease.

(Her brother is getting an Nintendo switch so had to level her out.
