We have about 1.5 hours until we leave to go to the candle lighting. Our chanukah candles will be a little late tonight but that's ok. It's for a good cause lol.

I was at the end of my rope babying my stomach so I'm eating crisps now and omg they taste like heaven

Wheelie - it’s completely understandable that you are very upset today and missing your baby. I can’t even comprehend how hard it must be, but I am in awe of your sheer strength to carry on after what I can only imagine is heart breaking and soul destroying.

I’ve had to send Paddy out to the store to get tomato sauce, cheesecake pineapple juice, banana milkshake and raspberries - god the cravings are so bad it’s like I would kill someone if I didn’t get what I was craving😂

I love seeing your photo of Mav! I think Lilah thinks he's her brother or something as she always gets right up to the screen when he's on there. Miss Lilah is off to the vet again tomorrow. Her eyes have seemingly healed up totally. BUT she's still so snotty and sneezey. But I wanted to make sure it's not a cold or anything. If it's allergies we can deal with that. I just want to make sure she's not got something wrong that needs treated. She goes at 3:30

Sorry, dropped off the thread while we're in the wilds of North Yorkshire! It's even harder to keep up here. Hope everyone is doing well!

Santa train was fun, but Santa came along the carriages instead of the children going to the grotto this year, and I didn't like it as much. DS kept trying to talk to him while he was at the other tables. He enjoyed the games the elf played while we were waiting, though.

Been MIA today busy taking Mum to the Gossip club dance then got her home, sorted her out then came home took me glad rags off and sat here with a cuppa to catch up only to find l have lost about 50 posts lol
I have to say to you Wheelie how brave you are l don't know how you can keep going really l don't . I am so sorry this happened to you and your beautiful daughter.

Firefly Sounds like a lot of fun!!! Our snow didn't stick much sadly. Just a dusting and enough to make things icy. Hopefully soon we get a good snow.

The candle lighting was breathtaking and very very emotional. Here's a photo of the angel first. Then my Calypso's brick and her photo hanging on a thread with many other angels. It was amazing.

Then we got home and lit up our chanukah candles and the girls opened their present of the evening! I finished my cross stitch too!

It's about 10:15 pm here so 3 am where you all are. So I'll end this and make another post sharing my chanukah candles and my finished stitch. Then I'm off to sleep myself!! Love you all! Sleep tight

Morning! It's DS' nativity. We left home early to get to the front of the queue so have front row seats!

I've hung two loads of washing out and cleaned the bathroom so far today. After this we're going home and I'll hang a final load out, then I'll walk the 2 or so miles into town to have my eyes tested at lunch time.

I came into catch up the past 2 days and you’ve started another thread!!

Hi all, I think catching up will have to wait till I’m at my pc!

I took yesterday off, I was out most of the day as cleaners were in but got lots done. I have all children except an 8yo bought for (getting sports stuff for him I think). Finished sewing ends into scarves for Canada and made up that parcel (which is cleverly sitting on the stool at the breakfast counter right now - the last posting day🤬). Early start tomorrow instead to get to a local post office. Ends on 1 other sewn in too. My sherry bought, Dh Christmas beers ordered (they’re late arriving to the shop so I have to go back but she’s keeping them for me).

The ribbons bought (and a new Christmas shop, to me at least, thoroughly and enjoyably explored!) for dh’s idea for the front door. (Wrap it like a present instead of having a wreath). And supplier of really good mince pies found! Dd was in raptures!

Today, I have a pretty busy day at work, and a trip to the credit union is needed but I’ll be nearby at lunchtime as I’m going to a choral concert 😁 just enjoying a quiet coffee before facing the mayhem....

Fluffy I'm sure he won't blow raspberries in time all the way through Little Donkey like DS2 did when he was in reception!

Looked at Christmassy things, just had a tomato and mushroom omelette, a banana and a hot chocolate. 🎅🎄😋🍅🍄🍌🍫

Wheels Beautiful photo, I'm so sorry for your loss, it has to be the hardest thing to go through. People are very odd with grieving, it makes them uncomfortable and unless they've experienced it they think it's like recovering from broken bones, I don't think you ever really stop grieving/missing loved ones you just become better at living with the loss. .

PSB, no raspberries blown. He was in the band and played 3 different percussion instruments! He was brilliant. They signed a verse of Away in a Manger (as Year 1 did too)...I was in bits! A little boy crying his heart out on stage had already tipped me over the edge, but that was the end of me! 😂😭
