Nero, O2 appears to be working now (conveniently now I'm home and don't need mobile data!).

Had breakfast in the Sainsbury's café, the DC had bitesize breakfasts, I had a bigger halloumi breakfast, heating up Pukka pies for their lunch. 😋🍳🍳🍳😋

When Addie stops believing in Father Christmas you can delegate present wrapping to her Acey! DD does all ours, except her own!

Mrs - I’m the same way, if it’s too expensive I won’t buy it no matter how much I want it 😂 singing whilst wrapping presents earlier definitely made it a lot more fun! It’s on amazon prime tv if you have that, paddy pretends he doesn’t like it but I know he does deep down aye that’s true actually, it is like a tribute to my dad ❤️Ha

My grandad will be moving over here permanently sometime in the new year, he said he will start looking for houses after Christmas which is very exciting

But, my cross stitch are almost done. The larger one needs sewing onto its backing, but I'm almost there. Hurrah!

It was her idea Acey! When she confessed that she didn't believe anymore, last year, I told her that she gets to be Father Christmas now, she got very excited and wanted to do all the wrapping and put DS2's stocking at the end of his bed.

wheels I'm sorry to hear your DD and father are poorly, I hope nobody else catches the sickness bug, vomit is the worst and I hope they recover soon.

fluffy I like the idea of a present audit but I've not bought nearly enough stuff as it is. I hope your cold goes away soon, I wouldn't want to go out in this weather and I'm feeling fine, it'd be a definite no no if I was poorly, stay in and rest. Your cross stitch looks beautiful in its frame :)

We're taking the kids to see father christmas tomorrow but with DD still covered in spots (thankfully scabbed over now) and DS2 permanently covered in snot it'll be ermmm interesting trying to get everyone photo-suitable

The kid and my dad are feeling better now, still had a laze around day thoug! Today was the Winter Market so husband and I went there. I'm also working on needle minders which I hope to sell. I'll share the needle minders photo!

Biddy We've had some calm weather thankfully. Next weekend my dad's tree goes up. The kids are sad they couldn't go visit him today but too many germs floating around everywhere haha

I think I caught up but sorry if I missed anyone! Tomorrow I'm going to sit around and just make my beaded angels and needle minders and such I might finish up my embroidery too. So I'll be around the thread more. Today on top of Winter Market we went to walmart TWICE because I forgot to pick up my photos the first time haha.

I forgot to tell you some good news! We ordered a tv stand that is also an electric fireplace. I've never ever had a fireplace and so I'm super super excited. I think it will help keep my front room warmer too lol

Last time l bought a brass planter with to the patttern of a daffodil around the top in a band , daffodils are the Welsh National Flower so l am quite partial 😄❤️

Mrs These are different than pin cushions. These are for while you are stitching if you need to put your needle down it's magnetic and the needles stick there so you don't lose them! I'm sharing a photo of my stitch before I finished it but using my needle minder I made

We had our family Christmas party yesterday and pants today. Still not feeling quite festive.

I made a sprout salad that was awesome and a chocolate tree stump cake, nice variation on a Yule log!

I have a needle minder, but it's made of plastic and nowhere near as pretty as yours, Wheelie. (I won it in a competition, though, so not complaining too much). I use it to pick up my pins when I drop them

We're home from holiday now, and got most of the decorations up yesterday. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Off up the parents in a little while, my Dsis is trying to stop Mum sending money with the Christmas cards, Mum has always done this, it isn't a new thing. Mum is furious, l am piggy in the middle . I just do whatever Mum wants so long as she is not being taken advantage of. I don't see it is my business to police what Mum gives to her friends or peeps she wants to treat. She is sharp as a tack upstairs , it is her body that has given up. DSis is almost obsessed with it and frankly getting on my nerves l don't understand her why is she like this ? She keeps on and on about it honestly l think there is something wrong with her mentally but quite what l have no idea

Firefly it's lovely when you see the house coming alive with all the decs , it transforms the feeling of the house ahhh , these needle minders sound fab l must get one for my Mum for Christmas , she does so much knitting and sews it up and loses the needles lol.

Acey hope your back improves today , l think it is something that does happen when pregnant as you prob know already, l seem to remember all my pregnant friends had an achy back in the last trimester which you are nearly at , you are very active too, so could it be all the stretching from painting the Nursery ? Am just wondering m'dear , hope it improves very soon

Acey backache in pregnancy is something to do with all the ligaments softening in preparation for the birth, even the ones you don't use in labour. Does that sound right Mrs, with your nursing background?

It's caused by the relaxin hormone, I think.

Wheelie - paddy is fantastic and the greatest support network I could ever wish for! He’s been my rock and my constant source of happiness alongside Addie! He just makes my life better just by being himself I’m glad your kid and dad are feeling better and that you have a new electric fireplace coming, yay for hopefully being warmer

Mrs - your sis is a strange one! I’m with you, it’s not up to you to police what she does as long as like you say, she’s not being taken advantage of! My dad was the same, it’s like his head and mind were still sharp as a 20 year old, but his body just gave up on him bless him. My back has finally stopped locking up and it just aches now which I can deal with I think you are right my lovely, it’s just one of those pregnancy things! I can’t believe I’m nearly at the third trimester, Jesus wept it’s flying by! I think I need to slow down a bit, I keep forgetting I can’t do everything I used to do before I got pregnant, and I can’t be as active as I’m used to Addie is currently kicking away which makes all this pain worth it
