Evening all! I'm not sure if this will be the last or the penultimate thread, but here goes!

Nero, O2 appears to be working now (conveniently now I'm home and don't need mobile data!).

First coat of paint in the hallway done! Although as I was in my element painting like there was no tomorrow, the bastard roller broke, it came flying out of my hand and smacked me in the face! 😂 I have a lovely grey painted face now that I’m about to try and wash off 😂 Paddy was legit crying with laughter 😂

Afternoon all. I've missed a couple of days I think, but will try and catch up.
Getting my hair done now, then packing bags to go to Manchester tomorrow. We're only going for one night, but the dc have so much stuff.

The scan place just rang me and asked if I could do 4pm Tuesday instead as the sonographer has hospital training on Wednesday. Fine by me I get to see Addie sooner

Nero, it's so liberating when the kids are older and you don't have to take the whole house with you when you go anywhere! Our first family holiday required hiring a roof box. We thankfully get everything in the boot now (unless they want to take their Trunkis, then we don't!).

Speke Hall was a let down. The hall didn't open until 12.30, and then there was a massive queue, so we didn't go in!

Mrs, your sister is odd. But it's probably more selfishness re inheritance than being mentally unwell.

Sad that Speke Hall was disappointing Fluffy. I loved it there as a child.

My concert was brilliant. (Bootleg Beatles) and we had dinner and cocktails beforehand. This morning we went shopping and bought matching Christmas jumpers. Very Howard and Hilda. DH has hidden them and we are going to surprise the DC on Christmas Eve 😂😂😂

Ah, Howard and Hilda. You have to be a certain age to get that joke! 😂

We've bought matching Hey Duggee pyjamas for all of us. We aren't sure when to reveal them though!

Frange I love Stuart Little but it makes me cry a bit. Today The Polar Express is on tv and the youngest kid is so excited to watch it. It's such a magical movie.

It's about 1:15 pm so around 6 pm for you all right? 5 hours ahead of us? I've gotten 3 more angels made today and now I'm back to work on my embroidery. I think it will go into one of the picture frames Fluffy told me about.

The sun is out today and the kitties are all laying in sunbeams all over the house. Tomorrow starts our insane week but I've decided I'm going to let the husband take the kids to the dentist and I'll stay home. Because otherwise I'm going to be too tired for my therapy appointment tomorrow evening and then my other appointments the following days. I need to take it a bit easy lol

My Nana was called Hilda; she would have been 94 next January and said it was old fashioned for her generation. She was named after an aunt.

If your Mum has all her faculties Mrs then she can do what she wants with her money, although personally I wouldn't send it in the post in case it goes missing.

What a shame about your outing, Fluffy. At least you've got other things lined up. Hopefully you'll be feeling better by then too.

Wheels The polar express is my fav Christmas film. It’s the most Christmassy!. I can’t wait either, I’m trying to convince DH to let me show pictures but not sure if he’ll agree.

Hello all! I haven't caught up I'm afraid. Just waiting for our sauna to heat up we're having the most amazing time here, don't want to leave tomorrow! We've been snowmobiling, had a husky ride, a reindeer sled ride, met Father Christmas and even saw the northern lights. It was -25 yesterday but a toasty -7 today

Frange I discovered yesterday there are people who hate the polar express and don't find it exciting. I was completely shocked. Like did they miss the freaking GHOST saving the kid's life? Like how is that not exciting?

Wheely my DM is one of them people!. She came over the other day and we had it on. It was so Christmassy and she ended up leaving because she didn’t like it that much!. She says she doesn’t understand the ghost but he’s the best bit (always has a very weird crush on him, even if he is animated!).

Frange OMG me too! I'm so glad to find someone else with a weird crush on the ghost. He's my favorite character hahaha My mom hates the solar express. I figure she doesn't have enough Christmas wonder in her heart to enjoy it hahaha

Philomena I do!! Because of this game. HAHA its just a very stress free game is why I think I like it. Plus the kids play it with me so it's fun to trade them little outfits and house decorations for our animals lol
