MrsMad another one here who understands the tablet frustration. Part of my old job used to be to fill a weeks worth of tablets every Sunday for 8 residents of the Home i worked in - all of whom were on different tablets / combinations 🙄 It used to take ages.

Acey I love the bath bombs. I will have to post a pic of my haul from the site you recommended. They're all for Christmas presents though

Also, navy is fine for a funeral, and the most important part is that you've shown up and said your goodbyes as best you can. I hope it goes as well as it can tomorrow (incase I can't post again tonight) 💐

Love all the cat pics. I have dogs (have never had a cat as DM is allergic and DH not a fan). I don't think I could take the rejection of a disinterested cat - my dogs squeal and show their excitement every time I come home. They're like an individual greeting service

Unfortunately, I think I'm coming down with a cold or something. The pressure in my head is painful, my head is pounding and I cannot get warm. I'm going to make a cuppa and hope that helps, but I'm giving in and going to bed shortly 🤒

Awww yay wreck on getting the nerf gun! Anyway you can hide it in the car boot until Christmas? We've done that on big big gifts (my 12 year old is a train aholic and wants all the train sets)

crazy I used to have a doggy and I miss her but with our lack of yard and the neighbors having a very untrained dog I think it would be dangerous to get another poochie here.

This is our very first porch and I have been majorly enjoying it. It's nice to go out there and sit and just watch the weather and not get soaked. And I can't wait until it snows and I can go enjoy the outside and not get snowed on haha or have an icy ramp.

I'm sorry you might be getting sick too. That always sucks.

4 PM and it's time to start trying to figure out what we're gonna do for dinner. I think I might make a casserole. We do a breakfast one that has eggs, cheese, sausage, hashbrowns, and more cheese and it's really good.

My car boot already has ds' new scooter in the bottom hidden compartment for his birthday next week! It's very handy 😊 luckily I have a car with an alarm etc otherwise I wouldn't leave anything in it. We live in a safe area but even here there's been break ins before. I think twice in the last eight years 😡

I don't do as much cross trainer as I did before falling down the stairs. I've no idea how I fitted 30 minutes in now! I do 20 minutes these days. I'm still too doped up on amitriptyline in the morning to get going any faster! As I age it takes more effort to stay slim, so the cross trainer is necessary!

Wreck, sounds like the Nerf will have impact on Christmas morning!

Me and DH have just got into bed. I’m feeling a bit ill due to stomach problems so he’s let me put supernatural on even though he hates it!. Just thought I’d have a little appreciation for him because he’s been amazing for all of this pregnancy (not that he isn’t amazing anyway) but I’ve been feeling very ill and can’t do what I usually do and he’s just took it all in his stride. I’m very lucky!.

I’m going to see my lovely sister tomorrow to tell her about the move, not sure she will take it well, we’re twins and have never lived this far from eachother before.

Thank you all for your kind messages about the move, you’re right, it will be a lot better on us because we’re not feeling at home in our house anymore.

Think it’s bedtime for me now, will try and get enough sleep as I can before this LO decides to have a party at 2AM and keep me up!.

DD's 11 but she was in bed at 9.20 last night, then had to get up at 6.20 this morning Wheelie, I don't think she's quite caught up yet. She'll get 12 hours 20 minutes if she sleeps until I wake her up. Then back to normal time tomorrow. DS2 has ADHD and wakes up after 6, which is an improvement, so the earlier I can get him to bed the better.

How do you do that breakfast casserole Wheelie? We'd all like that!

Mine are 13 months apart and a boy and a girl, so I didn't get to reuse much of the clothes. Got to reuse the big ticket items like the cot bed and car seat though.
Just out of the bath. I sat in it for over an hour because my back seized up and I couldn't get out. Water was bloody freezing in the end.

Ahh Crazy thank you for the support re the drugs it is soul destroying! l know what you mean about dogs, they are such brilliant, beautiful friends and company , we had a dog for over 16 yrs Amy , a springer spaniel, she was our baby for 13 yrs till we had the girls. Cats are a completely different species lol they allow us to wait on them hand and foot but don't think they are going to be happy lol , that is very good of you to allow DH a room without anything Christmassy but l have a cunning plan ,lol there is a beautiful woodland duvet set in Matalan and it is so divine l have bought it for me !! will post you a link now .

Wreck two break ins in the last 8 years that is pretty good l think although no break ins should be the norm of course . l am sure DS will love his Nerf for Christmas and his scooter for his birthday bless him

Fluffy, l didn't watch the Doc on Billy but l saw him on the news and thought what a very brave, dedicated & determined young man he is .
His family must be so proud of him. l am on episode 7 of the third series of the Bridge , it is fantastic ! Poor Saga she is so unworldly .

I know you were well on your previous pregnancies but my dear you have 3 DC and you have to do such a lot for them , they are a full time job alone without being pregnant , l think you are doing great

Awww Frange Sorry you are feeling poorly. My mom is an identical twin and they had a hard time being separated by a move at first but now it's ok. The fact that you feel more at home in the cottage is a big sign that it's time to move.

philomena Mine go to sleep yet but since we homeschool they can sleep in too which is probably why I'm not caring too much about bed times haha

Here's the recipe for the Breakfast Casserole. We don't really use measurements for it because it's just a go with what you want one

Ingredients:
Sausage (any kind lol)
Shredded cheese
6 eggs
salt and pepper to taste
hash browns (usually just a frozen bag is what we use)

Brown the sausage and drain it and put it in a 9x9 inch baking dish (I think it's about a 2 qt baking dish)
Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper and pour into the dish
Cover with hash browns
Bake at 350 F (176 C) for 30-35 minutes. Add the cheese liberally on top and bake for another 10 minutes.

It's so yummy and the kids devour it

fiddle oh hun I'm so sorry to hear about your back. I've btdt I once was home alone and got stuck in the bath and had to call the ambulance to get me out. I was mortified

Morning! Is it only Weds?! Boo!

Just eating breakfast before going to work. Popped my head out of the door briefly. Brrrr! It's definitely cold. Apparent feels like -1, so first minus temps this winter, even if it's only feels like!

I need to try to get a GP appt later to get something other than Naproxen for my shoulder as it's causing stomach pain which isn't good. Fingers crossed they can give me something other than an NSAID.

The cross trainer almost killed me today, but I battled through.

I know what you mean about cross stitch filling time. I was doing it for 90 minutes last night and only got a small amount of deer done!
