2 degrees here at the moment

WheelchairWoes · 20/11/2018 18:14

That's not bad. That's about 35 F

NoWordForFluffy · 20/11/2018 18:17

I'm loving your photos, Wheels! Xmas Grin Such a cute kitty cat (let's hope none of Maverick's cheeky ways rub off through the Internet!).

Temp here is 5 Celsius, but feels like 2 (so just under 40F, feels like).

Mrs, I'd have cried if I were you with the pills box. What a nightmare. Though I'd be suspicious that it wasn't really an accident, but I'm the biggest cynic going!

Biddy, you're so busy! I'm up the wall at work, it has to be said. Never mind. We will all get there in the end!

Wreck, there's snow heading up to Lapland, I think. The colder weather is spreading around now by the sound of it.

Nero, how old is your youngest? Go her (no stopping her now!). I know how mad your life is having the same age gap; it does get less mad. Ours played together lovely on Sunday, almost all afternoon!

We got our washing almost dry yesterday. Was wet today, so no chance, but dry tomorrow, so the dark wash will be put out there. It dries so much more quickly on the airer if it's been out for a bit. We finished our towels in the dryer yesterday, but it took barely any time really. We dry outside all year round.

I think you can wear any colour at a funeral now Acey, and navy's dark enough, I'm sure you'll look lovely.

WheelchairWoes · 20/11/2018 18:20

Yeah acey nowadays any color really goes for a funeral. Navy will be plenty fine. Especially since you are pregnant if anyone says anything just trip them and blame it on hormones

NoWordForFluffy · 20/11/2018 18:25

It's worse to not show up to your own dad's funeral than show up and wear navy, Acey.

I hope you can get some closure after tomorrow. Flowers

Picked DS2 up from basketball, had chicken korma for supper, DD will go to bed at 7. 🏀😋🍛😴

Mrsmadevans · 20/11/2018 18:40

Acey you can always wear a long scarf and leave your coat open sweetie, no one will think anything of you wearing navy l promise Smile
Maverick is so sweet , l think he is just gorgeous , everything is moving ahead very well for you , just have to get through tomorrow , l know you will be terribly upset but you will be fine , there is a saying l like that the addiction groups use , 'this too will pass' and it will and very soon you will have Addie in your arms and a wonderful future with her Smile
Wheely thank you for understanding re the tablets , l sort the tablets out for the week , 14 in the morning and 4 at night and they are in these pill boxes . When she dropped the pill box there were 6 days of tablets left in there so l had to sort 108 tablets , it took me ages and while l was trying to sort them my Mum was shouting at me to do things and she is deaf as a post and l was just so stressed , am ok now lol just one of those things that happen now and again Hmm You are so organised!!! Well done!! Your Lilah is beautiful and doing so well too such a relief for you all , thanks to pour great care for her
The vintage baubles sound just beautiful , you are making me want to put our tree up now Xmas Grin
Wreck it's cold with you sweetie wrap up in the warm ! nice Brew and Cake will help you get warm Smile
About 4 degrees here and they give us snow Xmas Grin yes!! Of course it will only be on the hills lol worse luck l love snow !

Mrsmadevans · 20/11/2018 18:54

Fluffy if my DH hadn't been with me l am sure l would have cried it was just the final straw you know , l got to Mums after doing her shopping and then l showered & dressed her and Dad shower room is such a great help then cleaned up and saw to the washing and their lunch and tea and everything else that needs doing and then she phoned me with the news about the tablets. TBH if she wanted to really upset me then she was on the right track! Xmas Grin
Your job sounds hectic Fluffy but you are such a conscientious person l am sure they must heap more and more on you than they do on others. Same as Biddy there is a saying 'If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. The more things you do, the more you can do.' - Lucille Ball
Couldn't resist this clip from you tube so funny ! Xmas Grin

WheelchairWoes · 20/11/2018 18:58

Mrs I totally get it. Once I dropped my box of tablets and just sat down and bawled because some of them look so similar and it just sucked so bad.

It's hard to believe that three weeks ago I was sat here sobbing thinking little Lilah was going to die. I was convinced of it and now she's rolling around and terrorizing all my big cats! haha

Philomena WOOT! Not much longer until beddy bye time haha

Fluff I'd be happy for Maverick's cheeky ways to rub off on her. I really didn't think she'd live past the first week so I'm so so very thankful that she's still here with us and doing well. I spent hours sobbing over her when we got her because I thought she was going to die.

Oh! I did notice 1 other neighbor around the bend from us has Christmas lights outside guys! We'll go on a roll tonight and take some photos so I can share them with you lol

AceyMac13 · 20/11/2018 19:13

I’m so full from the pizza and Addie is currently going wild 😁 Grin

I went to get the washing out of my washing basket and maverick jumped out, scared the life out of me 😂
He’s so sweet though, likes to snuggle at night and purrs like there’s no tomorrow! Poor boy got kicked by Addie again earlier though 😂

Wheelie - Lilah is sooo beautiful; I love her Grin 3lbs that’s awesome, you are all doing a grand job of taking care of her, lucky kitty!
My dr says it’s stress induced asthma, but also doesnt help with the freezing cold weather and Addie will start to push up on my lungs soon too.

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts on the navy dress, you are all right and I need to stop stressing :)

Mrs - love that song you posted earlier! That’s very true, I hadn’t thought about the scarf my dear! Well screw what everyone else thinks, if they have a problem then that’s on them 😁 he is a wee handsome fantastic kitten, he brightens up my every day with his cheeky ways! I wouldn’t change him for anything Grin ‘this too will pass’ I love that, thank you sweetie, I’ll definitely have that in my head tomorrow Smile it’s going to be gut wrenchingly upsetting, but also relief knowing that I will have had closure and can move on without feeling guilty!

I know you’re all waiting in anticipation for what bath bomb I will use tonight; it’s the robot Grin 😂

Mrsmadevans · 20/11/2018 19:21

Aw thank you so much Wheely re the tablets she has 5 that are all small and white it was a nightmare Xmas Grin
l get how worried you were re Lilah , our Shaky was really ill about 3 weeks ago and we all thought he was going to die but here he is as large as life and he has hardly set foot outside the house since, only to do his toileting lol Xmas Grin the whole of the landing is covered in newspaper just in case he poohs , for some reason he always poohs on the landing??? he has a new litter box which he will not use , we have the litter box on the landing too but he doesn't want to use it ! So when we hear the rustling of the newspaper in the dead of the night we leap out of bed and put him out , the poor boy may only be coming up for a bit of company but NOPE out you go ! Xmas Grin
I am glad you have company with putting lights up in your neighbourhood , nice to have some happy ppl round you ! Smile

Mrsmadevans · 20/11/2018 19:29

Am loving the Robot!! lol
I know it will be really hard for you tomorrow , we will all be thinking about you , l hope it goes as well as can be expected sweetie Smile

WheelchairWoes · 20/11/2018 19:33

acey yay for pizza!

Stress induced asthma. Yuck. That sounds miserable! Mine is related to allergies and such. But the cold sure makes me things worse.

I LOVE the robot. That is adorable.

Mrs Awww does the litter box have a lid or not? Some kitties won't poop in boxes with lids and some won't poop in boxes that don't have lids. So if there is no lid you might try one and if there is a lid you might take it off. It sucks to look at poo but I have one that will not use the boxes with lids and only potties in the open box. I'm glad Shaky is ok. Poor kitty. It's amazing how much we love these fluffs

NerosFiddle · 20/11/2018 19:41

Acey love the robot bath bomb

Fluffy she just turned 11 months there on Sunday. They are beginning to start playing with each other and fight over toys.

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/11/2018 19:42

DS2 went to bed at 7.20. 😴

Mrsmadevans · 20/11/2018 19:42

I know Wheely we love them to bits and they are quite indifferent to us on times lol Xmas Grin
He has a tray with no lid , l could try him with one with a lid though , l have a travel box that can also be a litter tray , thank you for the heads up m'dear! Smile

WreckTangled · 20/11/2018 19:42

Fluffy yes one forecast is saying 10cm on Friday so I'm choosing to believe that one!

Mrsmadevans · 20/11/2018 19:45

PSB l think you have brilliant DC to go to bed so early ! Xmas Grin
Nero there is 17 months between my DDS and it was the best thing ever to happen , they were company for each other and l could pass the clothes on to the other DD heehee Xmas Grin cheapskate that l am Grin

Mrsmadevans · 20/11/2018 19:47

Oh Wreck it won't be long ! 10cms is about 4 inches that is more than enough m'dear YAY!! Xmas Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 20/11/2018 20:00

Our two go to bed comparatively late on Mon and Tues as they have swimming on those nights. DS was zonked and went to sleep almost immediately (despite telling me he couldn't sleep!).

Tomorrow is likely to be a 6.30-ish night as I'll be back by 6 and they'll be knackered from the two post-7 / 7.30 nights they've had!

We couldn't pass clothes thanks to having one of each! Though we had loads of neutral stuff to start with as we didn't find out the sex. And DS was 2.5lbs lighter than DD so the first size she never wore were new for him! 😂

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/11/2018 20:08

They had a late night last night so are catching up Mrs, DS2 seems to have settled into waking up after 6 since his very late night on Saturday, and DD got up at 6.20 this morning for her reading booster.

WheelchairWoes · 20/11/2018 20:13

Mrs I hope it helps!

wreck I'm hoping for some snow! I'm ready! lol

fiddle awww 11 months was such a fun age!

acey those are FAB jammies! I adore them

philomena I miss the days of early bedtimes. My two are 12 and 14 (more nearing 13 and 15 now as Jan birthdays) and they are up til midnight or later lol

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/11/2018 20:15

Same Fluffy.I have boy, girl, 16 year gap, girl, boy. No passing on clothes here. I couldn't even pass on school sweatshirts and polo shirts with these 2 because they changed the uniform.
