Morning! Brand new thread for the new week!

Looked at Christmassy things of course, just had a tomato and mushroom omelette and a banana. 🎄🎅😋🍅🍄🍌

Acey & Addie’s relaxing day is actually turning out to be quite productive

Have put a chicken in for lunch, unpacked loads of boxes, emptied the car out so I can fill it up with all the damn boxes I seem to have accumulated. Baked cinnamon swirls and cleared out 2 of the kitchen cupboards so far. Also ordered Addie lots of gruffalo clothes and had several deliveries

My friend I work and went to school with, he’s on holiday in America at the moment and he’s sent me a parcel full of American goodies. I feel very spoilt.
He also has loads of photos of my dad, mainly with ones of us growing up, so I’m looking forward to seeing them when he gets back!

Biddy - bless you, it sounds like you went through what I’m going through! I’m 22 weeks today, and the dr says it will only get worse as Addie pushes up on my lungs. My wee princess is worth every second though thank you for the advice on sleeping on my side, and slow steady breaths. I will definitely give it a go, I’m willing to try anything at this point!

I washed my sheets this morning and have put them out on the line. I know they won't fully dry but if I could even get them dried a wee bit. I've also but the Christmas duvet on. A little earlier than I usually do, but I just couldn't wait.

Philomena - I’ve just been into the kitchen and he’s ripped open a whole 10L bag of cat litter and scattered it all over the floor! Now that face makes sense, devil cat!

Acey it's just an Elf duvet cover. I have another red and white winter one, that's more "adulty" but that'll go on in a few weeks.

I dealt with this morning's glut of issues, and to keep me occupied and out of mischief at lunch, I have just set up 3 internet shopping deliveries for the 1st 3 weekends in December. I will change them a lot I'd say, but at least I have slots that suit me, and I will have some fresh food (including milk, and I remembered bread 1 week!), to tide me over if I don't get to a supermarket. I haven't put any vouchers in yet, as they are all at home....but at least the slots are now reserved, with semi-sensible trollies attached

I’ve sorted out everyone we need to alert for the move and applied for the kids’ school. Then will sort out new doctors, dentist etc. I have an appointment in 3 weeks to book my scan in, so counting down the days until this!. I’ve put on a cottage pie for dinner and will get the kids soon, dreading the school run, I really don’t get on with any of the mum there, will be glad when we leave!

Nero washing on the line?! It's been a mixture of rain and sleety snow here all day. Yes that's right it's snowing in the south east of England but not in Lapland 🙄

I went to a cafe for lunch and had a delicious soup and sickly brownie. I also got some home made cheese straws which were half price as they were yesterday's 😋

We have mostly cloudy with a "feels like" of 1°. ⛄

Wreck I'm in the north of Ireland. It's cold and windy, it dry. I don't expect them to dry really but needed to do a wash.
Trying to do a Tesco order now while my dc rearrange my living room. I. Trying to think of what long life stuff I can add, that'll be suitable for Christmas.

Fluffy we have had to put the heating on for an hour on the morning and about 3 in the evening but we are here all day on and off so l spose that is not too bad , l hate having condensation mould in the house we get it in the landing window and one corner of the DD1 bedroom neither get any sun on them ! . l try to mop up any condensation with the Karcher hoover , it is a fab little device

NERO NERO l put the Christmas duvet in the washer and dryer and l am going to put it on in a bit, l just could not resist it anymore lol great minds think alike !
My Dsis dropped the tablets l make up for Mum every week , it is a nightmare to do them and when they are mixed up it is a long job to sort them she is on 14 tabs in the morn and 4 at night . She phoned me this morning and l felt like crying it is bad enough doing everything without that as well . Never mind ,she didn't do it on purpose but oh my, l felt so deflated when she rang.
Hope l haven't missed anyone , not intentional l promise
Am off to do tea , Bacon and Pasta bake tonight , one of my favourites easy but scrummy !

Just had parents evening. Both doing excellently 😁 dd (8) has a reading age of 10years 8 months and ds is actually talking to his teacher and putting his hand up in class (super shy!) I'm so pleased.

Can’t be bothered to make dinner, so my grandad has ordered pizza

Addie’s cot has just even delivered, it’s so heavy! It will have to stay in the hallway until my brother can take it upstairs tomorrow

Mrs - 5 degrees oooo lovely and warm 😂 I have to say, I am absolutely dreading tomorrow, I just want it to be over with if I’m honest! I don’t mean for it to sound horrible, it’s just been a tough couple weeks and I’m ready to move forward and prepare for Addie’s arrival! I miss him dearly, but life doesn’t stop just because he died :) I had my Christmas coffee earlier my lovely, so I’m now having a hot chocolate with my feet up

Sorry to hear about your dsis dropping the tablets, I know it’s unintentional, but must be so frustrating at the same time too!

I’m panicking now as my dress for tomorrow is navy and I know you’re meant to wear black to a funeral. I can’t fit into any of my black dresses though! I just hope I don’t look disrespectful wearing navy!

acey I'm sorry you are having asthma issues. Is it because of the weather getting colder? Mine's been playing me up because of the weather.

I love Maverick! My little black kitty Lilah is up at 3 lbs now! She's doing so well!! Here's a Lilah photo for you all today too (ignore her one eye looking a bit off we'd just put her eye medicine in them)

biddy Thank you! My daddy built the ramp when we moved in so I could get inside and outside without a problem! It's a gorgeous ramp!

I did finally eat. My husband made us pigs in a blanket lol

Mrs I adore that song! Also it's totally understandable to be deflated that sis dropped the tablets. No it wasn't intentional but it's a lot of work and I totally get it. I'm on 6 a day and my kids both are on them too so I totally get it. Plus my kitty is on meds too lol

I ordered some vintage ornaments for our vintage tree. They'll be here in a few days and I can't wait to get my tree all prettied up. I'm trying to find a nice throw to go in our vintage rocking chair to sit next to the tree but I just haven't found one I like yet.

I hope I didn't miss anyone! I try to catch up and then I always worry I'll miss someone and upset them! It's not intentional lol I just am typing all this between watching Lilah this is her first full day out of the kennel so she's been going a bit nuts today haha

Thanksgiving is the day after Tomorrow and I'll be gone most of the day for the big dinner at my mums and such. Today I'm working on Christmas cards and then Thursday all our other Christmas stuff is getting put out lol Including the other tree which we now have a good place for.

It's hanging around at 29 f here right now (-2 C) On Thursday and Friday it's going to warm up to 51 F (11 C) Cloudy and kind of bleck
