Morning! Brand new thread for the new week!

I'm here!! Yesterday I spent the day with my dad and putting up outside Christmas lights LOL I have some more to go up today.

Sorry I was MIA. I will try and catch up with what all is going on in everyone's lives!

crazy We've made about 16 ornaments to be dispersed as gifts throughout the family. We do chainmail so we made Chainmail angel ornaments. They might be small but a lot of work goes into them.

I'm sorry you were woken up by noisy neighbors! My nosy neighbors who I've talked about previously? Turns out they hate Christmas lights. So it's even more of a reason for me to go all out lol

MrsMad Yes that's the one. It isn't great but dm wanted to go and she gets anxious going on her own so we went together. She treated me to some new baubles and I treated her to lunch in Sainsbury's cafe

My grandad wants to go play bingo soon, so that will be a fun outing tonight He went to ask me something earlier, but instead of saying ‘Acey’ he said ‘Addie’ made me chuckle

Made the mistake of wearing new shoes earlier when I went to the shops, they’ve ripped my feet apart! 😫 they were meant to be wide fit as well! Maybe I should give up and just wear my slippers until Addie is born! I can’t even wear socks because they dig in too, even men’s ones 😫

My grandad has requested more cinnamon Swirls for tomorrow

Mrs - I tried leaning back to do that earlier, but it set my asthma off and I had a coughing fit! Yes my lovely, dr has given me the preventative inhaler, and then the other one to take if it gets really bad! It’s so weird, he used to treat my mum when she was alive, and she’s been dead 24 years! Maybe he’ll never retire
I am definitely looking forward to the funeral being over with my lovely, I don’t mean that in a horrible way, it just means closure and time to relax and focus on me and Addie you’re not nagging at all; it’s nice to have someone who cares

Sorry to anyone I've missed, I'm not being rude - I'm on my phone, so it's difficult to see who's said what when everyone is getting so chatty now!

Christmas countdown Santa is out at work - and he's not even mine! I have got a Christmas diffuser in my office, though and everyone who walks in comments how festive it smells!

Picked DS2 up, then went back to school for parents' evening, my appointment started at 5.10, went to the Sainsbury's café, DS2 had chicken nuggets, chips and peas and milk and white chocolate buttons, DD had ham, eggs and chips and a chocolate brownie, I also had ham, eggs and chips, DS2 was in bed by 9, DD was in bed by 9.20, did wash, laid clothes out, put DD's swimming towel in her bag. 😋🍗🍟🍳🍟🍳🍟🍫🍫😴

Aww frange I'm sorry it doesn't feel like home right now. That's always a very uncomfortable feeling

Firefly I'm working on it! Here's the house so far! We are going out tomorrow for more lights to finish what we've started. I'm trying to find some plastic blow molds to put outside too. I also think I'm going to put some lighted candy canes along my driveway haha

Philomena That sounds yummy. Right now it's 7:20 PM and I've not had dinner but nothing sounds good so I'm just kind of lazying around being sad because I want food but I don't know what I want haha

I don't want to get up. I've got to be somewhere miles away and have lots of driving to do today. Plus it's dark and cold.

It has gone colder. We've been managing with only 2.5 hours' heating per day until now. I've just over doubled that starting today. Our Victorian semi doesn't retain heat too well!

Had an awful night with my asthma, didn’t sleep much at all. So, today, I’ve decided that I’m not leaving the house at all 😁
I’m going to have a nice relaxing festive day; watching Xmas movies, ordering and wrapping presents and do some baking too!
Dads funeral tomorrow, then back to work next week, so want to relax while I can this week

Bingo was actually fun last night, I won €50 and a mini 3ft Xmas tree

Mrs - I love the dress it’s so pretty, and it’s nice to meet someone else who loves flamingoes too that’s very true, as long as they don’t hurt Addie that’s the main thing Addie seemed to enjoy the bingo, she went wild whilst we were there

Wheelie - thank you! The dress is my favourite too! love the lights, looking very festive I found out today, my miserable neighbour hates Christmas, so guess who else will be going all out this year

It’s 4 degrees here, so I’m very glad I won’t be going out in this and triggering my asthma!

Cinnamon swirls are ready, so better get them out the oven ready for when my grandad gets up.

My first stop this morning is on an army barracks. There's soldiers with machine guns and a tank at the entrance.

Oh Acey that sounds tough. I remember sleeping sitting up, well supported by cushions, in later PG so that my lungs got enough air (I have exercise induced asthma anyway, and DD just squashed my lungs to almost nothing!). Also, try lying on your sides rather than on your back to reduce pressure on the lungs. And aim for slow and steady breaths, as deep as you can get them, rather than short and shallow ones - keeping calm helps. I hope you get a good relaxing day today.

Fluffy fair play on getting your exercise in. Temps have dipped significantly here too (although it was more the rain of biblical proportions that I was worried about this morning). And I'm loving the progress reports on the XStitch here and on the Poncing thread (I'm lurking there rather than actually actively poncing - and just hoping that I get a few hours before 24th!!).

Wheelchair that is lovely looking on the porch! It's frustrating when you just can't decide what to eat and its' too much bother to make something - I hope you did get something in the end though.

Chips I'm thinking of you and hoping that you have a peaceful time coming up soon.

Mad busy day at work ahead, court starts and yet other projects continue with urgent deadlines! DH is home tonight, only night this week, and we've loads to do (including some internet shopping orders...) but I am asking the ladies on the street to call in for TG dinner on Thursday (in between running DD to and from Scouts!) as it still needs celebrating. Last night was my course (goodness is it harder than I expected) but I should get some prep stuff done tomorrow evening and over the weekend.

I've ordered the dc new onesies from Sainsbury's. I've done a click and collect so I don't get in there and get carried away! Although not much of their stuff fits my dc anyway as it's always too big round the waist 🤔
